The extra arm-things are thin, tactile tentacles extending from their shoulderblades and upper back. I envisoned them, if you picture a RL squid/octopus, less like the 6-8 big think sucker-covered tentacles, and more like the 2 "feeler" arms they have. Hope that's enough detail.
Maybe draw one w/ its teeth bared? Sort of snarling?

ok. i've read your world description. *it must have taken you ages* female with eggs ,the eggs are forcing the scales apart as she's about to ''drop'' so to speak ;Dthey didn't come out as clearly as expected ..i tried the weapons but didn't come out as i wanted them to ,can you draw any descriptions of them?mine turn out like a cross between a 60's raygun and a bullhorn,if you didn't see them i'll post them again(they weren't on here long before i took them off).as usual if there's anything you don't like ,no problem just let me know?? img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/juddski/ALTEGGS.jpg

That's a bit different that what I had in mind. The eggs are "incubated", so to speak, attached to/under the skin on the mother's back in big bubble/blister-like things. When the young hatch, the eggs rupture and fall off. Maybe you could draw a sort of "series" showing the advancing stages of egg-carrying. Stage 1-Normal Atlantean. Stage 2-Slight lump appearing on back, sort of like an oversized mole or pimple. Stage 3-Egg lump(s) is/are very pronounced, a sort of rounded hump growing out of the back. Here the mother would be walking sort of hunchbacked from the weight of the egg. Stage 4-The egg sac tears open, and a baby Atlantean crawls out. Try that.

when they're about to hatch, each one would be about the size of the parent's head. except round.

I like the first two. Maybe make the last panel a bit clearer, so you can see the baby Atlantean emerging?
