I've been resisting doing this in the hopes that I would concentrate on creating the worlds of the Anargo capital subsector, but what the heck. Following will be details and discussion on the eldar colony of Tir'asur... Kage

what kinda eldar are going to live there? craftworlders? exodites? outcasts? Well, as a craftworld colony I'm going to go with the fact that craftworld eldar live there... As such Outcasts will also be present, but Exodites...? No. Kage

you said it was an eldar colony not craftworld..so I couldnt have know But ok craftworlders...uhm I assume it will be civilians, farmers at most...I mean for militairy guardians and outcasts, maybe one or two ships, but nothing capable for a offence..ships are transport ships or something like that. a webway portal...I assume that will be there, I mean stuff has to be send to the craftworld and to the colony, maybe some militairy reinforcements in case they get attacked

I would imagine there also would be a small group of Aspect warriors to help in the colony's defence, but that's just me.

Maybe so, but very few...I mean there wouldnt be an aspect temple on the planet...and I think the aspect warriors would come through the gate is something was going on.
Maybe some war walkers? used as farming machinery for example?

Maybe some war walkers? used as farming machinery for example? Eldar equipment is usually built for one purpose only, I don't think they would use War Walkers as Farming machines, perhaps something more 'civilian' but based on the same idea.

I can't see Eldar making any strenuous physical effort in terms of agriculture or industry.
Most likely they plant trees which pretty much behave themselves, then eat the fruit.
Or possibly, nutrition is not a dwelled-on aspect of Eldar culture and such is acquired entirely through intravenous or similar system...
Yet, Kelmon does drink wine and enjoy it in a story from Codex Imperialis.
As for fabrication of inanimate objects, most things seem to be made from Wraithbone, which again is not produced either through physical labour or crude machinery, rather by psychic manipulation.

Hydroponics domes is how I've always imagined them acquiring the food they need.

but still if millions of eldar have to fed, the food has to be harvested, right?
what abouthaving some repair dock for space ships on the colony?

Interesting point but there would be no real need for a full sized space port, as the Eldar predominantly use the Webway but having landing zones would be useful.

no not a full port, but someplace to repair a transport ship, or where a transportship could land
