Some new suggestions have come in, and so a new poll has been started. I will not be starting any more polls, so this is it. Make your votes (again ) Oh, and for those of you worrying that I've just cluttered the Imperium forum, have no fear. The old poll will surely sink to the bottom of the page soon enough Option 1; Sikkukkut's own suggestion. Option 2: Unknown person's suggestion. Option 3: Snowflake of doom Option 4: Brother Animosus' suggestion. Option 5: Lordof's suggestion.

I think the addition of the spear makes it more complete than just the skull and crescent, i do like the skull on snowflake it looks damn good but as CELS says it would be too complicated a design.

The skull-and-moon is my favourite but it's still quite a complex design unless you're having transfers professionally printed.

I like Brother Animosus' suggestion. Bit complex but very nice.

Definitely the skull and moon!

Personally, I know I could do the skull and moon in an acceptable manner. Brother Animosus' suggestion is beyond my skills, I'm afraid. The problem with Lordof's suggestion, is that to fit the long spear, you're forced to make the skull and moon smaller. After all, you want the spear to have some length, otherwise it'll just look like an arrow or something.Lordof's suggestion is also very oblong, which is bad for chapter badges. They should be in the shape of a square or circle

What about a many pointed star, with like 8 points (two crosses a 45 degrees) to represent iciles, big pointy iciles of death. With a skull on top.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but... you wouldn't by any chance be familiar with the eight-pointed star of chaos, would you? As I've said before, I have never, ever seen the 8-pointed star used in Imperial symbols, badges, whatever. It is the symbol of chaos.

Sorry hand of Tzeentch at work. ;D Maybe 12 points? Brilliant white on a deep blue background. Nothing Chaotic there.

Hmm, Tzeentch is busy, doesn't 'Sikkukkut's own suggestion' have 8 points?

Sikkukkut nicely bypasses the Chaos star imagery by not making the angles between the arms equal... Thus it tends to look more like a 'star' image commonly seen in Nativity plays (the ones that I've seen, anyway) than the other... Current results are:
Sikkukkut's suggestion 1 Unknown person's suggestion 1 Snowflake 0 Brother Animosus' suggestion 1 Lordof's suggestion 3

Even if the snowflake were chosen then it would have to have 6 points. All snowflakes have 6 points. It is a universal law of snowflake crystal formation. Unless it is a bastard child snowflake of Nurgle!!!!!
