[edit for what Dazo said] [2nd edit; What would be as good, is if people would link me the post with the planet descriptions etc from their world creating posts. Means more reading for me, but if the world makers wanna be lazy.] Okay. Seems I'll be going through and making nice pretty pictures for atleast some of the worlds within the ASP. What I need to do this is for the world building people to leave certain details of the worlds they want 'picturised' (heh nice) so that I can run through and make them. Please leave; World Name World Location (sector etc) Climate Landmass/seamass [3/5 land 2/7 land etc] Pollution/atmosphere [heavy, light, etc] Population. Size [ie large, small, very large etc] Orbital Bodies. Star size/colour/. The things dont need to be specific, its just to give me an idea of what look to go for. Ie, if i know the planet has a sulphur atmosphere and no populous then I can make it look like that. That should be enough, if I think of anything else I shall edit the post. -nathan-

World Name: Seleca III World Location: Meksum Climate: Tropical Landmass/seamass: 70% water so that would be 3/10 land Pollution/atmosphere: Pollution light, Atmosphere dense Population:7,000,000 Size Large Orbital Bodies 1 large moon, multi coloured pastel shades if possible Star: K class, slightly less bright than the sun warmer yellow than the sun
World Name: Proculus I World Location: Meksum Climate: Ice world Landmass/seamass: 70% water so that would be 3/10 land, but all would be under ice Pollution/atmosphere: no pollution, thin atmosphere Population:24,000 Size Small Orbital Bodies 3 one very small, 1 1/4 size of main world, pale orange, 1 1/2 size of mainworld lots of volcanoes so would look like Io jupiters moon Star M class, i'd say only half as bright as the sun, and more red light than blue
World Name: Kolkhoz World Location: Castellan Climate: Tropical Landmass/seamass: 90% water so that would be 1/10 land Pollution/atmosphere: Pollution Moderate, Atmosphere dense Population:80,000,000 Size Medium Orbital Bodies none Star: K class, slightly less bright than the sun, a warmer yellow than than the sun
Do you get to adjust the amount of light hitting the planet because most worlds in anargo orbit fairly dim stars

Beautiful. Heres a few more then.
World Name Koralla World Location Meksum Climate very hot Landmass/seamass 30% water 7/10 land Pollution/atmosphere Toxic atmosphere, mostly chlorine, so that would mean yellow green shroud over whole planet Population. 180,000 Size Medium Orbital Bodies. Three similar sized, bluish moons about 1/3 the size of mainworld Star size/colour/ M class, only half as bright as the sun, and more red light than blue
World Name Anexal Prime World Location Meksum Climate Temperate Landmass/seamass 30%water so 7/10 land Pollution/atmosphere, atmosphere normal, pollution moderate Population.20,000,000,000 Size Medium Orbital Bodies. none Star size/colour K class, as bright as our sun
World Name Laguna World Location Meksum Climate very hot Landmass/seamass 40% water 6/10 land Pollution/atmosphere Toxic atmosphere, mostly chlorine, so that would mean yellow green shroud over whole planet Population. 1,000,000 Size Large Orbital Bodies. 2 moon. 1 temperate water world, no land, large ice caps. 1 earth like, temperate climate 60% water 4/10 land. bot only slightly smaller than main world both have nice clean atmospheres Star size/colour/ M class, only half as bright as the sun, and more red light than blue

Koralla; [yes i know its missing a moon, its behind the camera or something... anyways the likely hood of seing a planets 3 moons at teh same time, is low, unless they all had the same orbital pattern.] Anexal Prime; Laguna; Nathan

Before I post a large number of worlds, I'd like to advise people against posting worlds that are still in the very early stages, and have not been approved by Kage or any of the Primary Project Leaders. I'm not saying this just to be a pain, but rather so that Nathan won't spend time making beautiful images that might never be used. (After all, many of our members have switched UWPs for their concepts)
That said- keep up the good work, Nathan, please! Those are gorgeous. I have a question though- Is it possible to make the worlds look a bit like they do on the template maps? For example, have similar looking continents? If not, we should decide if we want to A) Not give a damn if the pretty pictures actually show continents correctly, because they're so damn pretty or B) Change the continents on the template maps to look a bit like on the pretty maps
World Name: Archaios World Location: Archaios Subsector Climate: Slightly hotter than earth. Deserts all around the equator. Landmass/seamass: 66% hydrosphere Pollution/atmosphere: Medium pollution Population: 9 billion Size: Huge world (16,000 km) Orbital Bodies: A single dead moon with a moderate population. Star size/colour: M1V
World Name: Elina World Location: Archaios Subsector Climate: Iceworld Landmass/seamass: 50-50 Pollution/atmosphere: Light pollution Population: Tens of millions Size: Small world (3) Orbital Bodies: Unknown Star size/colour: M?V
World Name: Sistina World Location: Archaios Subsector Climate: Hot wasteland, very little vegetation. Landmass/seamass: 80% water Pollution/atmosphere: Light pollution Population: Tens of millions Size: Large world Orbital Bodies: Two moons Star size/colour: M?V
World Name: Salinas World Location: Archaios Subsector Climate: A cool world (7 degrees average) with little vegetation, even in warmer regions. Landmass/seamass: 87% water Pollution/atmosphere: Heavy pollution Population: 858 million Size: Very large (13000 km) Orbital Bodies: One small, dead moon, rocky surface Star size/colour: M0V
World Name: Altarra World Location: Archaios Subsector Climate: Temperate, lots of wildlife and greenery. Planet is described by Zidagar as blue and white pearl. Landmass/seamass: 60% water Pollution/atmosphere: Light pollution Population: Tens of millions Size: Medium (5000 km) Orbital Bodies: No moons Star size/colour: M0V
Oh, and again, please do mail all the finished ones to cels@rocketmail.com ;D

Fussy so and so... I dunno, all this hardwork... haha. Sure thing man, ill mix the moon and world in a new piccy. Actually, Ill just make a new one. I downloaded a plug in for photoshop which allows you to create the worlds and the starscapes pretty simply. That said- keep up the good work, Nathan, please! Those are gorgeous. I have a question though- Is it possible to make the worlds look a bit like they do on the template maps? No, it isnt. That would be a good idea. Its the artwork, its not as if someones gonna sit there and go; 'oooohhhh look look that planet should have 5 continents and it only has 4!!!! OMGWTFBBQ' They are meant to look pretty and not be reliable for technicalities... like models. And yeah I'll mail you the final ones.

I like that alot, that could be moon rise on Seleca, if the moon was a little paler. What else can you do, can you flatten the worlds out so we can have flat maps. Your nervous now, but it'll pass...especially after all that beer you students are so fond of consuming

Ill sort that out in a few days. Be back when I can, I can imagine trying to get network access being a little bit of a hassle, so give me a few -nathan-

=Invictonburg=+ mini map First ideas for Invictonburg; the grey bits are hive, the rest is toxic 'quicksand'. [edit] Added some real clouds (using the cloud button to get satellite pics). Added map. PS: The 'dice' at the bottom of the Luna Cell Plug-in create random worlds... [edit] Changed link. Photobucket down
