We are over the pre-set time, and there has been plenty of opertunity for people to vote.
Besides, the correct choice got the majority.

We are over the pre-set time, and there has been plenty of opertunity for people to vote. We still got only 11 votes, one of which (see Kage post here) was for name which got at that moment lesser votes ‘just to be original’. The creator of IA still hasn’t voted. And just because the thread was started by me I know better when is due time for locking it Besides, the correct choice got the majority. this argument cannot be proved in any way, so it wasn’t counted as valid. ;D

Kage also wrote "I prefer Frostwraiths, partially because I've always preferred subtlety over the uncompromising imagery of the adeptus astartes..." and wrote that Frost Wraiths "thankfully" had the majority. A) This suggests that his vote was not random B) Even if it was, Frost Wraiths still has the majority As for the 42 members who have not voted... most of them have had more than a week to vote. If they really wanted, they could have voted already. We shall interpret their abstaining from voting as being undecided, liking both names equally or not giving a damn. However you choose to look at it, zholud, the Frost Wraiths is the most popular choice at the moment. Though I agree that there is no rush to decide on the matter, since it's not like Sikkukkut has the IA-article ready to be posted on the web, discussing the matter is still a waste of time. Time that could be spent a'planet buildin' Unless Kage says otherwise, or beats me to it, I think I'll lock the poll today. Trying to live up to my new title of 'Rogue Inquisitor' ;D

As I think I mentioned, I abstained from voting so I could get a picture of what other people's views were, since I didn't have any strong feelings on the issue. "Frost Wraiths" was my original name for them, "Bringers" is what I'm currently using, but I don't have a problem with going back to the old name if that's what the majority support. Tell you what, Zholud, I'll write a schism into the Chapter history where their name changed for a while

As for the 42 members who have not voted... most of them have had more than a week to vote. If they really wanted, they could have voted already. So, once again I encourage everyone to vote.Unless Kage says otherwise, or beats me to it, I think I'll lock the poll today. Trying to live up to my new title of 'Rogue Inquisitor' ;D Just try to lock it and this would be my last post on the forum and project. Yes, this is blackmail! ;D Seriously, there is no need in locking it now. After all I haven’t locked it when Frostbringers got the favour…

If they've missed the thread, there's not much point in that last statement, is there? Maybe you should make a post in the News and Announcements forum, saying that everyone should come and vote NOW..? Good point about the counting though... I shall have to read up on elementary math again.... Just try to lock it and this would be my last post on the forum and project. Yes, this is blackmail! ;D Hmmm, so I can get my suggestion to win AND get rid of you? Interesting... ;D Seriously, there is no need in locking it now. After all I haven’t locked it when Frostbringers got the favour… Alright, you big baby! I shall leave the thread alone...

I’ve unlocked it again Hmmm, so I can get my suggestion to win AND get rid of you? Interesting... ;D Just try… I’ll appeal to Human Right Watch and Hague supreme tribunal on the inhuman reign of Inquisition and prosecution of true namers ;D

The poll was locked because Kage decided it was time to lock it. So he did.
Human Rights Watch in 40k ;D LoL!
By the way, zholud. How did you manage to unlock the poll when you do not have moderator priveleges in this forum?

In my capacity as Fleet Commander I can only say: "You have no rights, other than the right to work".

Overall Sikkukkut will have the final say (ish), but I'm going to lock the voting once more. If it is unlocked once again (this will be the third time!) I will close the thread... If that doesn't work I'll delete the thread. Kage

Overall Sikkukkut will have the final say (ish), but I'm going to lock the voting once more. He is too polite and busy with own work that he already decreed that he will use one chosen by majority, despite the fact that he used Frostbringers in his final write up (as he generously noted, boosting my ego as a person who actually did something not only on own sub-sector ) which could be interpreted as his (probably very slight) favour to the latter name. If it is unlocked once again (this will be the third time!) I will close the thread... If that doesn't work I'll delete the thread. Who wins from locking it? I still assume that more time should be given to voters, especially new ones. BTW, see my goodwill in not-unlocking it once again. But everyone may still vote by answering on this thread with own vote… And answering to CELS on my powers in unlocking – it is just plain magic! ;D I’ve started the vote and I may do with it whatever I want until the thread itself it locked.

Well, I voted in the poll, but I'll post here as well my choice. Frostwraith. I don't think that Frostbringer has the same oomph. Deathbringer maybe. Even Firebringer. I live in Canada, and I have to scrpae the windows of my car for at least 5 months a year. Scrape the Frost off. I'm just not afraid of that. Even when I have to scrape the insides as well.....

Right, I'm positively sick of this thread now.
I didn't know that Sikkukkut had written up with Frostbringers in mind. Thus, that is the name.
Thus sayeth the law.
