I'm just curious; have we landed on Meksum? That would make this the Meksum subsector, no? (or Mexum)

Thankyou for reminding me, CELS. With the 'primary' world named, ASP convention at present leads us to name the subsector Meksum as well. Unless, of course, the history of this subsector includes the shift of administrative power in which case another name could be used. Kage |

Do you have any other suggestions? After short conversation with our Boss  we decided that Mexum sounds/spells worse. I can make a poll and/or open to alternative suggestions/proposals |

Meksum sounds fine by me. To be honest though, I really liked the idea of working off the name Mexico, and I must say Meksum has little resemblance. It's difficult to find a cool name that resembles Mexico without being too obvious though. If you're still interested in that idea, maybe change it to... Meksoci, Meksee, Mecsio, Mexio, Meksikum.... erm... Xemico?  |

Relax, Kage, I’m generally open to changes in name as long as they are hinting on Mexico hidden within. 8i just find –us ending to common for 40k, so I take Latin –um instead. Meksikkum is more ‘hinting’ but maybe too much. And Xemico is nice touch, despite lots of SF writers have strange love to ‘x’ containing words… so I set a poll. |

I'm glad. As I tried to clarify, I was in no way challenging zholud's authority, nor did I have a problem with the name Meksum. I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion that might be better in that it resembled Mexico ;D For the greater good!  |
