I'm half expecting Kage to delete this post and send me a nasty PM, but I'm going to go through with this anyway.
Previously, I've been rather keen on keeping people from spamming and making one-liners which are only so helpful, and since Kage made the mistake of giving me a glorious title which could only further inflate my ego, I've been quick to use my imagined authority to come down on other people for violating the 'forum rules'. Now, after probably making 100+ comments where I tell people to be careful with one-liners (or even the odd two-liner), and probably sending 10-20 PMs with the same reminder, I can't help but notice that not everyone is taking this to heart
Well, I just thought I'd tell you all that I'll do this no longer. From now on, I don't really give a shovel if people spam, double post and post one-liners (or all of the above at the same time), because I realize my comments have had precious little effect. Perhaps it's because I have no real authority to dangle discreetly as a warning
And I'm not even sure that the spamming bothers anyone except myself. Personally, I tend to get disappointed when someone has made a reply to a thread that I find very interesting, only to find that it was a silly one-liner which basically contained no information at all. I guess that's just me.
So everyone can just stop making cheeky comments like "Oops, don't kill me CELS", or "Watch out or CELS will get you". From now on, I'll take my frustration out on the guys in TaeKwon-Do practice or something, and stop harassing you guys
PS: This was not a rant, Kage, merely a light-hearted declaration, and possibly something intended to spark a discussion. Note the smileys! ;D
