Only a small group of members (I think only Kage and somebody else whose name I forgot) can access it

Yep, the board is currently password protected to prevent access to it without giving an overt special status to LordFenric, whose involvement in the project is otherwise quite minimal... In retrospect other ways of achieving this might have been tried, but there we go. Nothing untoward is happening in there. The "Eldar Sourcebook" is a parallel project that I've been interested in doing for some time and, while I'll more than likely be using it as the basis for Tir'asur since, overall, it will be the most developed interpretation available on the eldar out there, it does not in any way of course make it the only way of looking at things. As one might imagine, I'm stressing the RPG side of things as a background framework and using that to build up a consistent representation of the 'fluff'. Many of the topics that we're discussing have shown up elsewhere (other forums) or within the eldar board itself (though no-one tends to reply there so it makes no never-mind that the ES board is currently password protected). Whether this is just how eldar psykers work (and therefore how they differ from other psykers), eldar government, the nature of eldar subconscious psychic interaction (the 'eldar aura'), and so forth... Once we've hammered the concepts out to our satisfaction we'll open up the board... I'm sure there will be complaints, but at least we'll be arguing from a consistent point which in it's very basis is that much more than the complaints... Then we shall see, since ultimately it is a parallel project... Edit - Of course, if you want to contribute then just point your browser to the "Eldar" board and make comments on the various threads there. Since it is a 'mirror' for some of the concepts being bandied around in the "Eldar Sourcebook" forum you'll be having a roundabout effect... Kage

Ah. Righto. I was just wondering whether I'd missed some important handout or something.

Nope... we just didn't want people hoplessly clogging discussion with unconstructive criticism and statements suggestive of the fact that we didn't understand the 'fluff' given that we are approaching it from a slightly different angle and without the common constraints... And, of course, most people know roughly what is going to be produced in terms of 'eldar society', etc... Kage
