CELS... That is disgusting. How dare you publish your email address in such a fashion!? I mean, I could post that I would like to sent to and what sort of world would we be coming to? Kage

I'm somewhat cynical enoguh to assume that it has been done before with fan 'fluff'. I can almost say with certainty that I know for a fact that my ideas will not show up in GW lore, well other than the fact that some of my concepts are already present in GW canon... And before they showed up as publications as well. Gotta be amused by the whole (c) thing after a date in GW products. I'm sorry... But I truly believe that GW makes a profit on the ideas of fans without acknowledgement. They are in many ways the ultimate violators of IP... Kage funny you should say that, coz i sent drawings in years ago and they said thanks but no thanks, fair enough ,it was only later that i noticed similarities creeping in to G.W.(thats why i stopped playing/using G.W.) until recently when i found portent

funny you should say that, coz i sent drawings in years ago and they said thanks but no thanks, fair enough ,it was only later that i noticed similarities creeping in to G.W.(thats why i stopped playing/using G.W.) until recently when i found portent i don’t think that there is conspiracy theory, only the fact that due to asymmetric information used by GW the ideas are used w/o reference to authors. Just one recent example: several years ago on the Sisters of Battle yahoo group was discussed usage of spears similar to the Swiss bodyguard of Pope. The idea and name sarissa (spear in Latin) where made. Now in upcoming Codex exist sarissa – the bayonet for sisters’ bolters with probably different rules but the same word and idea. And I am sure they never tried to connect idea inventor and ask him for permission, even despite I assume that he would give it for free. I think a lot of this copying is unintentional, but the real problem is the fact that modern western world copyright laws are much better than anarchy on subject but far from optimal as well.

I like to think that, when I read the various BL books out there, that some of my ideas are there. I'm just arrogant enough to assume that through discussion on the various forums that some of my own ideas have been integrated... Okay, maybe not. But I was most amused to read Eisenhorn and find that it almost exactly the same as the universe that I had been advocating with much gusto...! Kage

probably no new version Who knows… maybe quite soon one new member of Portent will resurrect the project. But he assumes they would be some ones who contribute, not only consume… bane of all clubs is free raiding

Hmmn, I wonder if onverting it to PDF would be useful... Erm, do you think I should close this thread down? I mean, it is inappropriate. After all, the "FB" was shut down for IP infringement, but other web-pages which have done the same haven't... Hmmn... Kage
