Hey all. I've been playing 40k for 4 or so years now, have around 5000+ points of Imperial Guard, and am VERY VERY intrested in this project. I have a great deal written about my armies backgrounds, and hope to include my home planet Altarra in your Sector background. I also have several other planets I have been writing about, such as Salinas where my army fough the dreaded forces of Chaos and Dark Eldar pirates! So give me some guidelines and I'll get to work.

Hello Zidagar,
It's not my place to offer 'welcomes' as I'm only a junior myself here, but good job on contributing.
Good luck!

Welcome to the Anargo Sector Project, Zidagar! We're VERY VERY happy that you've decided to join I don't know how much you know about the project already, if you've been recruited by some of our veteran members or just stumbled upon us by chance, but I'll give you a short explanation of the run of thing. First, I hope we can find a spot where you can use the ideas for planets such as Salinas. Before we start looking for a spot though, post in the 'World-Building Questions and World Submissions' forum with the concepts for each world. If you want to post several pages worth of background, that's fine, but all we really need is a few paragraphs that really capture the concept of the planet. Before we start discussing the concepts for each of these worlds, I must warn you that not all of your concepts might be right for the Project. For example, if you have written a concept for the homeworld of two Space Marine chapters, we will not be able to use that, because we've already decided on just having one Space Marine chapter in the sector, and their homeworld has already been chosen. Likewise, if you have concepts for ten different hiveworlds, we won't be able to use all of them, because we've decided that we'll probably have something like 3 or 4 hiveworlds in the entire sector. Starting one thread for each planet would be a good idea. Once we've been over the concepts, we'll help you look for a location. If there's anything else you want to contribute to the project, such as any ideas on the Chaos and Dark Eldar forces you mentioned, please post this to the appropriate forum! Naturally, the presence of Dark Eldar will be connected to Salinas, but discussion of Dark Eldar presence in the Anargo sector as a whole, should go in a different forum (the Eldar forum or Other Races forum) Looking forward to hearing more from you. PS: AFMetallus, by the power invested in me, I hereby grant you the power to offer welcomes ;D PPS: Zidagar; browsing through other threads might show you the run of things, when it comes to creating planets. Each subsector forum (Dorvastor, Proteus, etc) will also have a list of available Imperial worlds, I believe.
