This forgeworld has been gaining an increasing underground cult, lead by the deamon princess Naplemas Lutez the 9th child of the deamon prince Conductor, who was once the child proidgy and future leader of the iron eyes successr chapter, who betrayed his battle brothers turned traitor over 2000 years ago.
His daughter has now partly succeed in turning this world into a mirror image of her deamon homeworld the Orchastrium, the depraved part mechanical, part living musical world, littered with organ parts, and demonic living buildings based on the imperials style of construction.
This world, now contains many cults of former techpriests, turned by her alluring promise of knowladge, and have helped to start to alter the panets geography to help the take over of this world.
Okay not that descriptive on story, but it is a little link, with some of the other story I am doing on emperorschildren.net

There is at present only one developed Forgeworld in the Archiaos subsector: Proteus. You may wish to have a word with CELS the worlds creator to see if he doesn't mind you including this as a part of Proteus' 'official' background and setting information. This may just be in the form of inclusion in a section which will soon be added to accepted worlds in the form of "Plot Hooks".
With that said, however, would it be likely that 'daemon world' actually exist within the heart of the Imperium (i.e. a subsector) and not be noticed...?

I have already 'created' a forgeworld lost to Chaos, but it is not located in the Anargo sector. See the sticky thread in the meta-forum (the one concerning other sectors) for more information about that. As for Proteus, I'd rather not have a huge underground chaos cult there, led by a Daemon Princess. And it would have to be pretty big to be led by a daemon princess. I don't think we want any worlds in the Anargo sector that are so corrupted that the entire world resembles a daemonworld. Considering the strong Imperial presence, it doesn't fit in. Should a world take such a considerable fall to Chaos, it would be exterminated before soon. In conclusion... 1) There are two forgeworlds in the Anargo sector. One of them is Proteus, and the other has not been created yet, but is the young 'daughter-world' of Proteus. 2) Proteus will not have a major chaos problem, if it's up to me. Not at the moment. It would be more interesting to start with a moderately sized cult, and then increase its size as we change the date of the ASP setting. 3) Since there is a forgeworld which no one has claimed, perhaps it would be better if you grabbed that one, Hellray. Bear in mind though, that with the established setting of the sector, a major chaos presence does not fit in. Not in the middle of the Imperial subsectors. 4) In other words, if you can tone things down, I'd be interested in having a chaos cult on Proteus. If you're looking for something bigger, it would probably be better if you claimed the other forgeworld, so you have (relatively) free hands. PS: "Daemon Prince Conductor"? Born from the warped nightmares of electricians?

Conductor as in musical conductor, e.g. an orchestra, the army is called the orchastra of iron.
Hmmmmm what if this is a chaos cult, influenced by a vision of this deamon princess, from her home world the orchastrium.
Maybe the cult is led by a now rouge techpriest, who is converting others to his beliefs, and maybe it exists deep in hidden millenia old catacombs, miles beneath the planet.
Maybe people have gone missing, near draincovers, never to be seen again, except maybe an arm, flotating along the oil rivers of the forgeworld (saying that would a forgeworld have oil rivers?)

Sorry NykylaiHellray I have to agree with CELS and Kage. This does not mean that you should not explore your plot idea elsewhere (like theother forgeworld). I would like to point out a couple of things though. As has already been mentioned, a world falling to chaos would probably not go unnoticed if it was to the extent that you have indicated.
The Imperium would probably crack down very hard on such a world. There is also the fact that Anargo is quite far from the Eye of Terror and the Maelstrom. How does your Daemon Princess maintain her corporial form? This is one of the reason why we went with the Alpha Legion as our Chaos badies, because instead of relying on Deamons, they for the most part employ cults.
There is also the fact that you are talking about having chaos take a foothold on an forgeworld. You are now stepping into the arena of the Adeptus Mechanicus. CELS out of curiosity does the Adeptus Mechanicus have an internal organization like the Inquisition to root out heretics before the come to the notice of the Inquisition?
With the amount of greef that the Adeptus Mechanicus went through when half the Titan Legions and other AM assets went over to chaos during the orus Heresy, I think they would try to be a little self policing, so as to avoid further trouble or inquiries from the Inquisitions or High Lords of Terra. What are your thoughts?

The AM are not stupid, nor do they like outsiders poking their noses around, so they will certainly police themselves.
A world as corrupted as has been suggested would struggle to survive in the imperium full stop, and as forgeworlds probably have lots of ships visiting them, it would soon be exterminatus, or at least a massive ground assault, time soon.
