Well, Dazo, I don't know what to tell you... first of all, I would like to repeat the worries expressed by zholud. You should really try finishing one world before starting on a bunch of new ones. I know you prefer to work in a bit more chaotic style, jumping from world to world as interest fades and rises, but I really think you should respect our wishes on this matter. It benefits the project to get Standard Representations nailed as soon as possible, and I'd rather have 10 SRs than 50 floating concepts of varying detail.
I'm not saying that I won't allow you to develop this world, since I don't really have that authority, and Kage would come down on me like a meteor, but... I really wish people would focus on finishing SRs. Amongst other things, the lack of fully developed worlds is stopping us from creating detailed models of the trade in the sector, which is very important.
Again, it's my humble recommendation that you work some more on Seleca III before starting on this marsh-world. If you don't know what remains to be done for Seleca, compare what you have done to Kage's excellent SR for Anargo (although that is more comprehensive than yours need to be), or my own SRs for Tryphon, Proteus or Nagoma. The sticky thread in the World building forum should also be helpful in determining what your SR lacks.

Ditto. Please don't kill me for spamming, CELS. It seems that there are some things even 'da boss' fears...

Its not CELS you want to worry about, you told me to put it out there...ditto...i'll give you ditto....if you weren't so old...bloody old fogey....rrrgargh This is a concept nothing more, the only reason its here is to gage interest, would you accept it, if in the distant future i decided to try somthing along these lines yes or no. Seleca is a different matter altogether. Please don't assume just because i have a new idea i've forgotten about everything else.

<grin> I make the same reply to anyone who posts me concepts, and you would be surprised at the amount that I have to deal with here, on other boards and by PM and IM! I think that the greatest problem that you have is having a specific environment type being the predominant feature of an entire world. That's kind of Star Trek logic which, while it can be fun, we need to be explained... even with significant hand-waving!

So you are saying yes its alright but only so long as theres a really good explantion....mmm, i'll try but not until i get other things sorted and finished first did you mean star trek or starwars because the concept could be seen as a dagobar(spelt correct?) type world which wasn't the image in my mind, have you ever read The poison master Its cool

It was more a reference to the fact that while it is not a bad thing to have a strong focus on an environment that gave us the inspiration to post a concept it would not necessarily be right to describe the entire world in those terms. If we take the example of Dagobah, is it appropriate that the entire world be covered in swamp? Or is that just the area that we're interested in and the rest of the world shows the same variation as seen on Earth?
Having a good visual concept is a great thing, but it must be remembered that we're trying to keep things as realistic as possible - well, at least plausible with given assumptions - so the image must make overall sense.
