Yes, the file is detailed. That is, of course, the point. It is meant to create a consistent framework to be tweaked to the 40k universe... But I am keen on having some obvious distinction between people who are in for a chat and... well, the project members. Kage

Yes, and equally; project members from people who want to introduce their homemade IG regiments / favorite SM chapter.
I don't know if deciding this by voting is the best idea though. Obviously, many of the new members will want to avoid having to spend too much time on the world creating, and be free to spend time on their favourite part- the wargaming aspect.
Unfortunately, if some people are only responsible for doing the Imperial Guard regiments, the Navy, the Space Marines, the Inquisition, the Assassins and Stormtroopers, then the rest of us are free to concentrate on planet building. Personally though, I don't find that so appealing....
Of course, I might be wrong about this...

That's what this forum is all about... If you're having some trouble, then just post a thread about 'your world' (whatever it might be) and post it. Then your questions can be addressed on that thread. Remember, however, that the Guide is just that: a guide, or series of guidelines. It is not meant to restrict, but to offer support and to prevent people from turning out clones of the Armageddon system (what, 12 colonised worlds with Terra-compatible systems? hang on, number 12 at the distance it is at from the star should by at -200!... or whatever). It is not created for the 40k universe, but rather borrowed and 'stuck on', as it were. There are going to be glitches... But if you're willing to use imagination and not just say "Heck, this doesn't work and when can I get to creating the interesting stuff" (read: wargame stuff) then you'll probably have more trouble than not... Anyway, not the place for this but I just thought that I would say it again. Find a world, come up with a concept and get to creating that world... KageKage

Well, since this thread has turned into somewhat of a stalemate without anything come out of it, I guess that the status quo will remain and I shall see to the appropriateness of a blanket title for those who are either world-bulding or who are not world-building... Kage
