Colour is essencial, is that alright, its just I don't think it would work in black and white.
Hmmm ok leave hair dos and people out, and if you like you can just post it here, or send it to me what ever you find easier

The fore ground in the first one is just right, the framing effect I mean, could you warhammer it up a bit more thought, more medieval with timberframed houses do you know what I mean. The second one with the round windows and spires, those are the look i'm gunning for. The third one with the mist and bridges and spires I like that alot, can you combine those elements and push the cathedral back a bit so its framed on the horizon in siluette with the windows sort of lit up, like stained glass would be, and have the foreground street on a slope. I'm looking for almost two different pictures if you like, as if the background has literalty been framed by the foreground but with no middle ground. Does that make any sense That was so ungracious of me, they all posess some excellent imagery, but this ain't no disneyland, unless micky has been liquidated by the inquisition for his unorthorised use of arcane magics and the seven dwarfs were wiped out in an "alledged" hive fleet attack

by the way daz, these are the pictures i tried sending you. the first one is a mickey mouse snowman i made in finland earlier this year.i also did an I'G' getting shot.but it didn't look right made with snow(i was going to put ketchup over him for blood but the wife thought that was a bit too much ;D ;D the second is a bob ross inspired painting on my backwall.i had origanally painted a space marine and an ork but the neighbours complained about them..... every time they got up in the morning and drew the curtains they thought they were being robbed ;D i'll take this post off if it's unacceptable to have these on A.S.P.......R.T. img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/juddski/F2waterwall.jpg img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/juddski/F2MM.jpg

I done the same sort of thing on my kitchen wall, and that did end up with ketchup on it, in what later became known as the infamous exploding ketchup bottle incedent, looked like I had butchered several people with a cleaver, I hadn't by the way. How the hell did you get mickys arms to stick out like that, and the candle, classy

Like what you did, but this kind of composition, so the cathedral is just right, but if you could push it back and make it a little smaller but keep how it looks, and the buildings you did look perfect, but can you squeeze them into the boundries like in my pic or will they not fit If you could make them thinner so the gap in the middle is wider aswell, and perhaps put some tiny dots around the spires to represent tiny birds or bats for a sense of scale. And twilight, so dark night sky but with that dusky blush you get above the horizon as the sun goes down

Mmmm hang on to it for now I sure we can find a place for it, you could populate it with people to show what the citizens of this world would look like, its a really dramatic backdrop for that sort of thing I think. But that can come later when I actually start work on the world. For now we just need to get across the atmosphere/vibe/spirit of the place

Hey no I like that its a good close up of the cathedral. But... can you darken it up a bit more, and really push the cathedral back so its for on the horizon, sort of like you are looking at it from a mile away or something, but still from a street like in that one. But make it more winding alley, not an alley, but you know how buildings used to lean in at the top in ye olde times. And have the street lights on, remember just red or green. And for the background, you know at night when you are in a big city and all you can see are the street lights glittering all over the place, like that plus a big cathedral on the horizon Would that be ok
