What? Representation of Orks is perfectly reasonable in a sub-sector which is famous for fighting them.

That was why I suggested against it, why have an ork on a sub sector crest?

It's not unheard of for crests to display the enemy. If you're familiar with the Bretonnians in Warhammer, you'll see that their crests and shields often display enemies they've actively fought in the past, or that they have defeaten as part of a quest. If they've fought goblins, they have half moon emblems, and if they've fought Norse raiders, they have raven emblems, for example. Likewise, medieval crests would sometimes have faces of arabians, since there were some wars against those guys. So an ork skull or decapitated ork head is not out of the question, I suppose. Oh, and Minister, I was just joking, and somewhat embarassed for not seeing the point about green

So we got a black fortress and blue color. As all of our designed crests are diveded in somehow we should divede the crest in to at least a two. I say two diagonals meeting at the middle and going straith to the bottom. I don't like the look of crests divided into three equal parts. How about two diagonals though, making a diagonal cross? That divides the crest into four, giving us even more spaces to play with ;D Or, we could have a thick diagonal stripe from bottom left to top right, and then put the fortress in the top left corner, and the Phoenix or whatever beast in the bottom right, and then we can decorate the diagonal stripe with a sword, or a key, or bones... Having the fortress at the top representing the worlds primary duty. And this gives us two other places to do. I presume we have a Phoneix to represent the Castella cannot be beaten by any means as it can even come back from death. So this leaves us with one undone part? Sounds good, but I'm worried about how I can draw a simple, stylised Phoenix... As for the undone part... how about an ork skull? We must find another colour. Background colour has two options. Red to show the militaristic idea or the blue to show the loyality. I think if you accept my idea blue must be the background as a Phoneix on red will be crap(red on red). Well, if we go with one of my two suggestions, we won't need another colour... But yeah, black castle on red field, red phoenix on blue field. The seperators will be red and may be with gold back lining to show that they do not care for their lives to defend the Imperium of man. Well, I'll be impressed if anyone can pick up that message, but... won't the crest look off-balance if it has red fields AND red seperators? I'd think just yellow or black seperators would be better.

I don't say any red background and red seperator. I say red seperator blue background as the Phoneix will be crap on red background.
But still a crest divided in to three looks more unseen and militaristic to me. Every other crest looks like a knights shield but the 3 partet one looks like an army badge...
