Now those are nice. The first top one looks a bit... splodgy, but the second one looks great. As for warp maps... We need to figure out how we're going to put the warp chanels together first.

Wouldn't a 3D map of the warp be very... strange? It's not like the physical universe, after all. Drawing warp routes on the physical maps is simplifying things far enough, IMO.

The warp maps are the way to go and I even volunteer to make them, but just as many others members of the board I have loads of work and stuff to study right now, so it is postponed on indefinite period. The drawn routes will give approximate of their closeness to the real universe enter-exit points, with availability of which would be marked with colour intensity.

Talking of maps, I recently found this among my files: www.dread-zone.co.uk/anargo/rotatemap.htmlDrag the bottom circle with the mouse... Reminds me, never did get round to fixing the preloader so it reports how much is loaded...

That picture never worked for me before, so this is the first time that I've seen it rotating. I still think that is an excellent basis, although some questions of representing the various astronomical features is up for grabs. If anyone knows of any free download programs which will make the representation of this information rather easy then let me know... I really think that a graphical representation of each subsector would be invaluable at this point, something that can then be integrated into the 'big picture' that McHaggis was originally working on but which he's subsequently disappeared with...
