I draw members' attention to the following premise on 40kOnline: Dark Millennium v.2. It is their goal to create a more detailed version of the 40k wargame (4E based) and expand it significantly. I have suggested that one of the more interesting methods of doing this is through a campaign system, something that we have obviously touched upon as part of the ASP. Perhaps we might join in with the concepts? Might be a good way of getting more feedback on the various campaign systems proposed in Wargaming... Kind of like free kibitzing, which we are very familiar with on this board... Kage

I'd be quite happy for them to do all the technical work and us simply plug the concepts in. Publications seem to do best with some sort of basis in fiction, so perhaps their (having an advantage in technical expertise) working with us (having an advantage in literature) would form a stronger whole.
In other words, go for it. If I remember rightly, Nurgling Chieftain is the boss of this project. Or is it Nurglitch? Nurg-something anyway.

Nope... someone else. But for the life of me I cannot remember who at the moment.
I had, however, thought that it was more of a case of 'us' going there and offering what we had with the understanding that it would be used as part of the ASP... Perhaps naive, but there we go.

Collaborating with them is fine as far as I can see. I don't have a 40K Online account so someone else would have to propose the idea and give them links to our wargaming threads.

Well, you could always create one and join in...?
But, yes, it might be easier to point them over here. The only thing is that project is specifically designed for the creation of a wargame product and is therefore likely to draw 'expertise' on that front, whereas here it is a part of a wider project.
