With lord fenric's idea, the Chaos Space Marine has actually been outside the warp and not relied on the rejuvenation of the Dark Gods since the Horus Heresy. For 10,000 years he's been building up his criminal organisation on a world in Anargo.

In essence, 10,000 years is out of the question without use of a lot of warp energy or millennia in stasis, baring some SERIOUS xenotech. What is possible is that he has been using a combination of Imperial anti-agaphics and assorted Chaos rituals to keep himself going.
Or... How about the old gig of transfering his mind from one body to another, in the style of the Emperor in the Dark Empire Star Wars commics? Could be fun.

I am not sure that it should be xenotech, for me the problem with even Inquisitors dying before their first millennium end is due to loss of some traits connected to replaced by bionics organs and due to excessive risk. If the only goal is to survive and live (i.e. not stay in stasis) then it is possible to be even 2 millennia old. And chaos gods grant immortality even outside the EOT, but it takes more energy from them, so they ask more in return.

That's pretey much what I said...
The main problem is going to be the degredation of the mind, and is the final limiter. There is only so much that can be done in that respect with Imperial technology.
