I'm looking at my schedule for the next few months and realising that I might not have the time to fully develop the Anargo subsector. Is there anyone out there who is willing to take up the mantle for the subsector? I'm still going to develop the capital world since it is mostly done anyway, but just thought that I would open this up just in case. This way I can then get to the time consuming tasks of 'administration' that are stacking up behind me... Kage

I'll put myself forward tentatively. What will it involve?

Essentially creation of the worlds within the capital subsector with sigificant input by me... I've just got a large number of things on my metaphorical plate at the moment and I see the Anargo slipping behind the other subsectors due to time constraints. I also need to get some of the 'example' documentation finished and find that with trying to keep track of all the threads that this is getting harder and harder. Having some of the weight off the shoulders would be a significant help, allowing me to concentrate on those things that I would say I'd get done (the example of system and world creation, the standardised format of presentation of 'objective' information and so on)... Quite ironic, considering how Kage originally said that the capital subsector was the most important one, and that we should all focus our efforts on that at first... Ah well Yes, the Castellan and Anargo subsectors are falling behind. To remedy this though, I shall get started on a planet in the Anargo subsector tonight, I reckon. All praise CELS!

LOL... You will note, however, that the original statement of the importance of Anargo was based upon the simple presupposition that everyone would be working on that subsector first. If that were the case then the subsector would now be finished... Kage

I'm doubtless going to regret this, but I'll do it ;D
How much of the Sub-Sector is already done? Are the world stats created and just awaiting "filling in" or will I be doing that?

I have already established my own concepts, but you are permitted to disagree with those and create those fo your own. The only systems that are 'fixed' are the Anargo system (and it's close companion) and the Academy. If you're really willing to subscribe to the ASP guidelines and the 'side/back seat creator' that is me, then once again confirm that is what you're willing to do... Kage

I offer to add Paradise planet to Anargo sub-sector next week. The idea that during rule of Vandire power corrupted more than usual and started to set up worlds for rich.

As I've said, I'll be the Sub-Sector Manager

Okay... perhaps we should begin to talk about your thoughts about the direction of the subsector...? Kage

Ok, my thoughts on this Sub-Sector.
First off, I think it should be heavily developed. Mainly civilized worlds with a few 'support' worlds (Paradise, Agri etc etc)
Anargo should be very much the Administrums home turf. The Infulence of Ministroum and AdMech will be minimal. As well as that the Local Governments and Commanders will have a much less freedom compared with their counterparts in the other Sub-Sectors.
I'll post more later.

First off, remember that I'm going to have some images for the subsector which will need to be conformed to or, perhaps, at least given weighty consideration. More so than with any other place in the project I have ultimate veto. With that said, I prefer not to use it which I why we're going to discuss things first... First off, I think it should be heavily developed. Mainly civilized worlds with a few 'support' worlds (Paradise, Agri etc etc). Only a few worlds were 'suggested', but yes having a dominance of civilised worlds might be intriguing if you're willing to work up the creation - or find those people to create them! - of these worlds. But remember that they're going to have to conform to the published statistics... Anargo should be very much the Administrums home turf. That is a given since the Anargo Primus Tertius - or Anargo for short - is the capital of the sector. Ultimately all bureaucratic information on the worlds of the sector head to this world where they are collated and then sent on to the segmentum fortress. The adeptus terra maintains a significant presence upon the capital world, a city of ~500,000,000 adepts dedicated to the collation of data and the 'running' of the sector. Does this mean that the adeptus mechanicus and the adeptus ministorum have little presence? For me, no. For starters the adeptus mechanicus maintains it's main ship construction facilities in the Anargo Secundus system, the far companion to the main Anargo system. This would mean that they have a not-too insignificant presence! Furthermore as the 'main' world of the sector, the adeptus ministorum will have a presence. After all, it is the centre of faith for the sector... Hmmn, sounds like I'm just standing on your ideas. It's not the case, since I rather like the idea of a few more civilised worlds to play around with. Making Anargo the 'Rome' of the Anargo sector makes a whole lot of sense in my mind, just not something that I could have done with my limited time even before it became, well, more limited. As well as that the Local Governments and Commanders will have a much less freedom compared with their counterparts in the other Sub-Sectors. Is not each system a 'fief' to be run as the Imperial Commander wishes it? To what extent does the influence of an Imperial Commander extend to other worlds? Is it something other than the rule of law, perhaps extending to the concept of 'culture' and politics of noble families? Kage

Is the 'raw' data for the planets in Anargo Sub-Sector available? If so where?
One of my little hersies', but I feel that the 500 million Adeptus Administrum on Anargo have a tendency to interfere with worlds nearest Anargo Primus Tertius. Imperial Commanders can still do what they want, but may have to put up with the AdAdmin fiddling with their ideas.

Is the 'raw' data for the planets in Anargo Sub-Sector available? If so where? It sure is! Try this thread! This should be everything you need to get started! I don't see why this would be more of a problem near Anargo Primus Tertius than anywhere else. I imagine that as long as Commanders are paying their tithes and defending their worlds, the Adeptus Administratum is happy.

Remember that it is not the numbers of 'adepts' present on any given world that necessarily impacts upon their influence, but rather the concept of that 'influence' with regards to the organisation in question. Thus it is more important that it is the adeptus administratum than the fact that world A has 500 adepts and world B only 296. But the level at which the adeptus terra has become a part of culture and at which point that culture starts and ends with the Imperial Commander is a fascinating point of discussion... And one that is going to need addressing on the Anargo sector given its rather obvious implications. Kage
