When combined with the centralisation of manufacturing infrastructure, Anargo holds itself on the threshold of becoming a hiveworld. Yet it is not yet the toxic nightmare that hiveworlds often turn into as a result of their manufacturing industries or their poor environmental management. Manufacture and the majority of the population has been aggregated in the colder southern hemisphere, minimalising their impact upon the controlled agrarian and mariculture environments of the warmer northern lattitudes. In many ways Anargo is a world of opposites, a feature mirrored if one observes the world from orbit. At night in the south one can see the numerous bright lights of the teeming cities and hives of the urban south, while the northern lattitudes are sparsely populated, green with the verdant rainforests that abound. Even the seas are green, an artefact of the extensive mariculture which is used to support the vast bulk of the extensive population. Yet Anargo is at the centre of things. As the administrative capital of not only the Anargo subsector but the entire subsector, it has the largest single presence of the adeptus terra – more specifically the adeptus adminstratum – of any world in the sector. An entire archipelago of hundreds of islands and a substantial portion of a land mass is taken up with the Imperial Conclave, a city of five hundred million adepts who administrate not only Anargo, but the entire Anargo sector.

GovernmentAnargo’s government is an artefact of the civil war held in 326.M39 in the closing battles of the Age of Apostasy in the Anargo sector. In the previous millennia, stretching back beyond the foundation of the Imperium and into the Age of Strife, the government of Anargo was focussed upon a religious dictatorship and autocracy similar, in many ways, to that found in the modern world of Tryphon. Following the successful coup d’etat the government of Anargo shifted radically. Not only was the uprising of the previous adeptus arbites commander popular, but as an off-worlder Albrecht Gaius was also not entrenched within the acculturated form of the Anargan religion. Indeed, while it would cause him trouble throughout his lifetime, Gaius was to openly question acculturated forms of the Imperial Cult and, by default, the adeptus ministorum. It was rumoured that during his lifetime his name was frequenty discussed in the offices of the Cardinals of Dorvastar along with the words ‘traitoris excommunicus’. The history of the Gauis’ coup against the Anargan Theocracy is discussed elsewhere but, when combined with popular movement and his own views, the changes to Anargan government in the last century of the Age of Apostasy in what would become the Anargo sector were significant. Looking towards the activities of the adeptus ministorum as somewhat ironic inspiration for the changes to the structure of government. With Gaius’ own preferences for control of a potentially unruly population – as a pragmatist he realised that the Anargan population was fickle and if they had rebelled against their appointed Imperial Commander, rightly or wrongly, there was every chance that they would do so again – the dioceses and parishes of the Anargan Theocracy were replaced with administration districts of the rapidly expanding local adeptus arbites force. Indeed, while the overt form of the government changed, some scholars quietely point to the similarities between the two governments with ‘administration districts’ replacing ‘diocese’, adeptus arbites replacing priests and the ‘tithe’ to the Anargan church being substituted with the ‘Civil Contribution’, Anargo, therefore, is divided into a large number of ‘administration districts’ maintained by the local adeptus arbites force. While referred to as the the ‘adeptus arbites’, it is raised and trained from local volunteers and might be more correctly considered a separate arm to the Planetary Defence Forces raised as the feudal obligation of all responsible Imperial Commanders. The adeptus arbites proper, i.e. those that are trained off-world and brought in as a distinct entity, are maintained at the Imperial Conclave in the northern hemisphere of Anargo. Each administration district is integrated into a distinct hierarchy, both in terms of a chain of command through the structure of the adeptus arbites and also through their civil responsibilities. The ultimate commander of the locl adeptus arbites is, of course, the Lord Commander Anargo who also traditionally carries an honourary rank within the true adeptus arbites. The penultimate authority is the Lord Arbiter of the local adeptus arbites, who provides an important voice in the Lord Commander’s advisory council. The Advisory CouncilWhile the ultimate authority lies with the Lord Commander Anargo, designated fief holder of the Anargo system and member of the nobilitas imperialis, the nature of the original coup d’etat required that Gaius involved a number of the significant local nobility for support. This was the origin of the Advisory Council and which has broadly remained unchanged excepting for some obvious additions, namely officials of the adeptus terra with the transfer of the seat of power to Anargo. The current composition of the Advisory Council is as follows: - Lord Commander Anargo, Diomar Gauis II.
- Lord Arbiter, Taranis Galmar.
- Representative of the adeptus terra (usually an adept of the adeptus administratum).
- Anargo Commander Militant.
- Representative of the Inquisition.
- Representatives of the nobilitas provincialis (15).
The advisory council serves to discuss local executive policy as well as determine and enforce the impact of Imperial policy on both Anargo and the Anargo sector in general. On the local level the Advisory Council also acts to create specific Inquiries, groups of nobilitas provincialis, local adeptus arbites and adeptus administratum adepts to deal with specific socio-economic activities on a demand basis, i.e. the construction of new sewage systems in a given city, dealing with poor ‘relocation’ in the hive spires of the southern hemisphere, etc. On the sector-level, Lord Commander Anargo has, strictly, little official influence on the sector as a whole beyond the regular social interaction with the upper echelons of the adeptus terra. What influence the Lord Anargo has is, however, promoted through the Convocation. The ConvocationOccurring once every century, the Anargan Convocation invites the Imperial Commanders and their entourage to discuss matters of local and Imperial policy. Designed to be a grand event, both social and economic as well as political, it acts to draw together the leaders of the far-flung worlds of the Anargo sector in the hope that never again will they experience the depradations upon themselves and the people of their worlds as experienced during Vandire’s reign and the wars of pacification that followed. ReligionLord Anargo has a strict policy against the practice of any religion other than the Imperial Cult that is maintained not only through preference but also by the tradition of the past millennium. Any non-standard practicse is considered cult activity and, as such, penalised as heresy by the local adeptus arbites. The Imperial adeptus arbites take a somewhat less rigid stance to acculturated forms of the Imperial Cult, more so specifically because as off-worlders they often share these ‘non-standard’ beliefs. Off-worlders are, however, permitted to perform acculturated forms of the Imperial cult in the various extraterritorial zones of the world, most specifically the starports and the Imperial Conclave. Anargo’s approach to religion is an outgrowth of the Anargan Theocracy, a pro-Vandire government which came to power out of the acculturated beliefs of the Anargan people during the early Age of the Imperium and the Age of Strife. The pre-Age of Strife religion was a derivative sector of an archaic millennial religion which believed that a saviour would arrive and lead the Anargans to greatness. With the formation of the adeptus ministorum following the Emperor’s ascension to the Golden Throne, the Anargan religion was easily acculturated into one of the ‘standard’ variants of the Imperial Cult: the Eperor was the messiah who had come and once again sacrificed himself for his people, his Saints and Angels the Primarchs and blessed warriors and heroes of the adeptus astartes and all those warriors who served and worshipped him with all their heart. As the Age of Imperium was broken by the Horus Heresy, non-standard ideas were slowly integrated into the Anargan religion and the power that was only theirs in part was, by the Age of Apostasy, assumed in total: the Anargan Theocracy that was born with the coming of the Imperium grew to maturity under the cloak of Vandire. It was not until the Gaian revolt of 362.M39 that the Anargan Theocracy was gradually put down and the soon-to-be-raised Imperial Commander censored the specific variation of the Anargan faith as ‘heretical’. After suffering for a millennia the people were ony too willing to move away from the teachings of the Anagan Theocracy and the dogmatic variations from the older ways that had been such an integral part of their lives. The specific religious beliefs of Anargo are therefore those of the Imperial. With that said, however, the presence of the adeptus ministorum is reduced over many developed worlds of the Imperium. While the administrative districts are essentially the same as the previous diocesal and parish boundaries, there is no translation over to the adeptus ministorum. Rather, the administrative districts are divided into parishes and the former dioceses integrated into much larger entities. While nominally this might seem to increase the ower of individual Cardinals of the adeptus ministorum, diocesal power is maintained as an administrative feature with the Cardinal merely being the ‘priest’ of the largest Church to the Emperor of Mankind. It is a very fine and minor point, but one that is traditional to Anargo and which has often brought the position of Lord Anargo into question with the priesthood of Dorvastor.

Society and Law Even almost a millennia after the Gaian coup, Anargo society balances upon the wave of that revolution. The then-Commander Gauis could not have succeeded in the revolution despite the forces at his command had it not been for the support of the disenchanted fragments of the noble houses that existed during the Anargan Theocracy and which controlled not only a great deal of the population, but also a large proportion of planetary wealth. As such the nobilitas provincialis, traditionally mercantile-orientated, remains a continued presence in the ‘new’ regime. Much of Anargan manufacturing and agricultural remains in the hands of these nobles, yet another reason why the more powerful are included on the Advisory Council to the Lord Anargo. It is also through their status and the diverse nature of their holdings that the nobilitas provincialis maintain significant freedoms compared to that of the lower citizens. The nobilitas themselves are divided into three broad groups depending upon their primary economic activity: those in the northern hemisphere that concentrate primarily on agriculture/mariculture; those in the southern hemisphere’s whose interest is in human resources and Anargo’s manufacturing industry; and the third, rarer group, that try to diversify their interests between the two extremes.
For the greater majority of the Anargan citizens civil movement is restricted to a single or specified number of the administrative districts depending on socio-economic class and specific function/occupation. Land ownership is extremely valued amongs the poorer socio-economic classes, especially with the increasing population and the concomittant importance of local agrarian production, and until the new regime was all but impossible. Land was originally held either through the Anargan Church or the nobility, themselves significantly attached and indebted to the same church, with the result that the required tithe and contribution disallowed increased in agrarian production. With the removal of the majority of the tithe and replacement by Civil Contributions and, further, the alteration in land tenure an increasing number of qualified individuals could rent and/or purchase land for subsequent agrarian development.
While their personal movement is restricted, Anargan citizens otherwise enjoy a proportionately greater level of personal wealth and quality of life than many Imperial citizens on similar industrialised, agricultural or even hive worlds. The high-level of technology present on Anargo extends into the every day lives of its citizens, not just in terms of access such as on such worlds as Tryphon, but in terms of possessions. While most living quarters tend to be cramped in an effort to keep urban spread to a minimum, access to communications and informercial networks is common in these apartments. Thus while an individuals’ occupation may take them to the other side of Anargo, they can always remain in contact with their extended family. For the majority of people, even such limited examples of the advances of Anargo since the Gaian coup reinforce the advantages under the hereditary rule of the Gaius family.
In terms of the legal system on Anargo, the lex imperialis holds full sway. On Anargo, there is no division of law from the highest of the nobilitas imperialis to the lowest citizen. While such a vaunted situation is part of the government infomercials that move throughout the Anargan media, unfortunately no world of the Imperium revolves around such simple dictates and the ‘Golden Rule’ holds force.
One quirk for the transitional government were the vested interests of the nobilits provincialis in maintaining as much freedom as possible for external trade and, at a time when Commander Gaius was trying to push through the changes away from the diocesal structure as well as introducing the first land tenure changes, it was possible to push this change through the Advisory Council. As such, while the average Anargan enjoys little freedom of movement beyond their specific administrative district, off-worlders that move beyond the extraterritorial areas have freedom to move throughout the various administrative districts, although it is considered a breach of etiquette if they do not inform a member o the nobilitas provincialis if they are passing through their lands. (This is a social consideration only; the nobilitas provincialis have no judicial powers beyond those maintained in the lex imperialis as citizens of the Imperium.)
Technology The technology of Anargo is little different to that seen in the greater majority of civilised industrial worlds throughout the Imperium except in, perhaps, access to that technology by the common citizenry. While the majority of advanced technological artefacts are restricted by socio-economic class, most citizens have access to integrated communications/information service equipment, etc. Ownership of lighty military or paramilitary technology is extremely prohibited by Imperial law as well as executive determination by Lord Anargo and the Advisory Council.
In terms of technology the most interesting feature of it within the Anargo system is in one area: aerospatial engineering. Despite having advanced aerospatial technology, most particularly in the creation of space-based habitats and interface vessels. However, despite this the presence of lift-based vehicles on Anargo itself is highly restricted, an outgrowth of the restriction of civil movement between the administrative districts.
Trade and Tithes As the capital world of the sector, Anargo maintains significant trade contacts throughout the Anargo sector. In many ways one might think of it as much as a ‘hub’ as any other in the Imperium, though one that has recently been challenged by the rising productivity of the Meksum subsector and the consequent shift of economic interest. Despite this, however, the influence and presence of Anargo, the noble families and the numerous companies and trading concerns cannot be over-emphasised.
The economy of Anargo is multi-faceted, not restricted to any particular good in terms of internal production. Agriculture, including mariculture, is of particular significance given the radically increasing population. The present restriction of hive structures to the southern hemispheres leaves a great deal of land and ocean surface for these activities, but despite this synthetic foods are still required in the hives, in part due to distribution issues as quantity of food available from local production. (Anargan seafoods are a noted delicacy, though it is ironically pointed out that the ‘unique flavour’ of Anargan king crab is more due to the chemicals being pumped into the oceans rather than any feature of the seas themselves.) Indeed, the export in food items is a lucrative, if small, operation for a number of the nobilitas provincialis.
Anargo is, however, most well known for the production of aerospatial technologies. Two types of structure are of particular significance. Firstly, the components which are produced on franchise to the adeptus mechanicus who integrate the components in their facilities around the companion star of Anargo Secundus. Secondly, Anargo is particularly well-known for artificial satellite construction, including defence platforms, orbital habitats, and so forth. Indeed, the most famous of these lies within the Academy system and the military school founded by Albrecht Gaius, the first Lord Anargo.
In terms of tithe, Anargo’s primary contribution takes the form of the hull components, etc., as mentioned above. Anargo has also been responsible for the Founding of fifteen distinct regiments of the Imperial Guard, as well as three battallions. At present, only the 15th Anargan Heavy Rifles serves in the Anargo sector, manning the borders of the Castellan subsector. The Anargan 3rd Battallion continues to serve in the Cruciatine sector where, in its own way, protects Anargo from the significant ork presence that has al but destroyed that sector.
Physiology Anargo is a world that other than a higher base mean temperature and a slightly lower gravity shares a very similar environment to primordial Terra. As such there is very little difference between the Anargan and the Terran. Anargans of the northern hemisphere tend to have darker skin, however, a product of the increased exposure to solar radiation. Those of the southern hemisphere, however, tend towards a paler complexion less a result of exposure and more to general confinement within the hives that are the main population centres in that hemisphere.
Psychology The average Anargan is proud of their world and their position both within it and the larger Imperium. Through the guidance of Lord Anargo they feel that their daily work truly serves the Emperor and Mankind, and that their world is the epitome of what all true Imperial worlds should be. Although the restriction to civil movement is a commonly discussed and sometimes questioned feature of their society, the majority of Anargans see only the benefits: the low crime rates, the limited frequency of pogroms against heretic, mutant and psykers and so forth.
The growing discrepancy between those of the ‘north’ and those of the ‘south’ is, however, becoming marked in the contemporary culture, leading to what one might consider ‘normal’ for hive culture. This ‘discontent’ is represented over the communictions network as the result of demogogues rather than any flaw in Anargan society or the judgement of Lord Anargo and his Advisory Council.

Language and Dialect As a sector capital, Anargo enjoys a great deal of communication with the rest of the Imperium through extended communication networks (i.e. trade ships, significant Astropathic communiction, etc.). The result is that the Anargan version of Low Imperial Gothic is bastardised between several versions, a feature which over the Imperium tends to keep the language fairly consistent. High Imperial Gothic is, as always, generally restricted to the nobilitas, whether provincial or Imperial, and scholars.
Planetary Defence Force In many regards, Anargo might be considered to have a singularly extensive PDF in part due to the paramilitary nature of the local adepus arbites. Despite the extensive armed presence, the Anargan adeptus arbites is primarily involved with civil action and only has rights of mobilisation in times of planetary invasion or upon emergency Founding of significant Guard elements.
Lord Anargo maintains a separate and dedicated military force as his PDF, though in terms of manpower this is lower than one might expect for a world of the importance and position of Anargo. Almost every unit of the Anargan PDF is, however, well-trained and experienced due to numerous conlict scenarios on Academy. Furthermore, Lord Anargo has spent significant sums of money to fully equip the PDF to the highest possible specification, with the full utilisation of combat infantry armour, infantry dress and, where appropriate, heavy military technology.
One area that Lord Anargo has been somewhat frivolous with, in part due to the location of Anargo Secundus, is that of the PDF Fleet. Anargo maintains significant quantities of system defence boats and numerous battle-platforms which, indeed, is disportionate for the strategic location of the world. The ordo hereticus has frequently raised some eyebrows at this, but despite numerous inquisitions little heresy can be found either on the world of Anargo or with Lord Anargo himself. Nothing can make the Inquisition more suspicious than this, however.
History While specific dates have been lost to the degradation which seems common throughout the pre-history of the Imperium, Anargo was settled during M25. As a result of eastern expansion and the phenomenon which was called then as now the “Heart of Anargo”, rapid warp travel from the core of the old Dark Age ‘empire’ of humanity was prevented. The Heart of Anargo were the rocks upon which many warp-ships were broken. As such both the population and the infrastructure of Anargo developed at a pace which was only superceeded by Meksum, a feature which is mirrored in the contemporary demography of the Anargo sector. As Anargo’s infrastructure expanded so to did it’s influence on the surrounding worlds, becoming a constant source of food and technology as their own industries began to develop to the specific needs of their environments.
And then came the Age of Strife. The technology that had long since served humanity now turned on itself and, at the same time, the madness of the warp released the potential in humanity that had long since lain dormant: psykers began to appear on worlds all over the Imperium. On Anargo the problem was more acute than that experienced on many worlds and, while the world did not fall to the Ruinous Powers, there were times when the surface of the planet was scoured by the forces unleased by the untrained witches. The resultant pogroms against the psyker population, and also the ‘mutants’, were therefore incredibly harsh. Indeed, the effects are felt even in the modern population of Anargo where the psyker tithe is much lower than on other worlds of similar population.
Perhaps not unusually, however, the legend of the ‘pure witch’ perpetuated through the psyker-ravaged population fostered a sense of hope. A messiah who would lead them out of the madness and into the light and greatness of what once was. Around this belief and the need to justify their continued pogroms was born the Anargan Theocracy, a church that could wash the sins of their actions away and remind them of the forthcoming messiah.
As Anargo rebuilt itself, so too did it begin to reach out once more to the stars that it once offered succour to. Using those warp-capable craft which had survived the Age of Strife and the millennia of fear-inspired disuse, they travelled to the nearby systems and began to slowly build up the Protectorate constituted of what would ultimately became the Anargo subsector of the Imperium.
With the coming of the Imperium, the Anargans and the Protectorate at first resisted, not in terms of ‘hard’ military resistance but ‘soft’ resistance; apathy given over to a conquering nation. While the historical veracity has yet to be determined, it was shortly after the initial ‘conqeuring’ of the Protectorate and the other ‘micro-empires’ that had survived in the sector that the Emperor was said to have arrived at the head of a mighty fleet. Some say that he landed on Anargo and, in so doing, persuaded the Anargan people and their government to join with Him on his quest to unite all of the humans under the banner of the Imperium of Mankind. (The Anargan crest is said to have been a personal gift to the Jacort line, known throughout Anargan history as a benevolent family until it’s last son became an integral part of the Vandirian Anargan Theocracy.) Others point to legends of the Dorvastan nebulae appearing in the sky of Anargo at this time, sending the Emperor and his Fleet towards Dorvastor.
Whether true or not, from this point on the Anargans became an integral part of the Imperium. Their rebuilt economy allowed itself and the other worlds of Anargo to contribute to the Great Crusade of the Emperor. Until the Age of Apostasy Anargo continued to serve in this function, its position as subsector capital confirmed shortly after integration into the Imperium.
While it, like the other worlds of the what would become the Anargo sector and those of the sectors surrounding it, was to suffer its own wars, plagues, revolts and heresies it was not until the rise of Vandire and the Age of Apostasy did anything of monumental significance occur in its socio-history. Vandire’s influence allowed the perpetuation of the cruel and perdicious elements of the Anargan Theocracy: the social division between ‘priest’ and those in favour with the majority of the population widened, as did the trappings of the classes (i.e. technological access). The single feature that supported the Anargans through the Age of Strife now became an unbearable yoke. As the Thorian and Vandirian forces came into conflict over the Imperium following the death of Vandire, the Anargo sector was not left unscathered. On Anargo itself the population began to strike and riot, the pressures requiring the Anargan Theocracy to use the adeptus arbites and the local PDF as a bludgeon against the people they once served.
One commander of the adeptus arbites, an influential off-worlder called Albrecht Gaius, watched in horror as the pogroms continued against something other than the ‘heretic, mutant, psyker and alien’. As the Sargassos subsector reacted to the Alpha Legion presence and the pro-Vandirian forces were pushed back, Gaius lead a coup d’etat against the leaders of the Anargan Theocracy, using loyalist PDF and adeptus arbites elements. The structure of the Anargan Theocracy rapidly crumbled, corrupt as it was in a top-down manner, though this did not prevent the atrocities against those only nominally involved in the Theocracy (primarily the local priests). Gaius rapidly consolidated his own power, a feature that he thought was only temporary, through the utilisation of noble families (nobilitas provincialis) whose involvement in the Anargan Theocracy was as minimal as possible. These families remain represented in the Advisory Council to this day.
Following the pacification of Anargo, Gaius maintained his interest in the external affairs of the Anargo subsector, a feature which was validated by the senatorum imperilais raising him to the ranks of Imperial Commander of the ordo eques and resituating the capital status on Anargo.
The Academy was founded by Gaius and, while its purpose has changed somewhat since those early days, remains a useful training ground for officers and troops over the entire Anargo subsector.

It’s methane-tainted atmosphere, frozen hydrosphere all contribute to a ‘mist’-wrapped world out of which the flames of plasma exhaust can constantly be seen. With only a small (~10,000) permanent population, Albus has a transitory population that covers almost the entire naval PDF. Indeed, it is said that if you have not visited the world of Albus then your training is not yet complete (a similar statement is made in the officer training corps about the Academy). Radimal also maintains signficant repair facilities with a franchise of the adeptus mechanicus, though it does not have the ability to produce its own ships. Aestimare: As with Anargo Primus 1, Anargo Primus VI offers little in the way of economic resources or other resources. It is unpopulated and barren. Aestimare: The frozen world of Econois would, in the habitable zone, be considered ideal for habitation. It is currently used as a listening post for both PDF and adeptus astra telepathicus adepts, with ‘sensors’ (and the minds of the Astropaths) focussed on areas of common precipitation from the warp. Planet: Anargo Secundus VI World Class: Civilised (Industrial) Population: 524,288 (Lugh), 425,984 (Orbital Docks), 32,768 (Argentus Sinister), 32,768 (Argentus Dexter) Aestimare: Lugh contains the main starship construction facilities in the Anargo sector and while it is primarily inhabited by TechPriests of the adeptus mechanicus and their servitors (forming the population listed in the census; all other individuals are considered to be transients) it is not categorised as a Forgeworld but rather as a civilised (industrial world). The physical conditions of the world itself are harsh, with temperatures reaching close to absolute zero all but freezing the atmosphere as a blanket of molecules in a frozen shroud tens of metres deep. From space the world shines, in part giving the planet it’s name through association with a mythological character from pre-Golden Age literature. The population of Lugh and the satellites of Argentus Sinister and Argentus Dexter maintain a strict population of TechPriests, never rising above or below the cited figures. There are, however, millions and perhaps tens of millions of servitors and near-servitors (often neophyte TechPriests themselves) that toil upon the world and, while they have obvious economic value, they are not considered to be ‘true humans’ in the eyes of the Machine Cult and, therefore, the census. By far the greater portion of TechPriest and Servitors exist on Lugh itself, toiling in the manufactories which act to integrate the numerous components which are produced locally or imported from the civilised or hiveworlds of the Anargo sector or beyond. Surrounding Lugh in both polar and equatorial orbits are the many orbital docks responsible for the integration of large structural components of the ships and, as such, it maintains the second largest population of TechPriests with a lower ratio of TechPriest to servitor (the average size and complexity of servitors does increase relative to those found on the surface of Lugh). At present, two capital ships remain under construction as well as the ships commissioned by other interest groups. The populations of Angentus Dexter and Sinister provide the smallest populations, although tend to concentrate the highest ranking members of the adeptus mechanicus present on or around Lugh. The surfaces of these small bodies are barely visible through the massive structures which are built in, on and through the satellites. Argentus Dexter is primarily engaged in the manufacture of delicate electronic components while Argentus Sinister is involved in the final integration and activation of warp-drive components.

RPG and Anargo[/u][/size] The ConvocationThis political event held bicentennially offers a perfect avenue for RPG scenarios of all types, from 'high level' (politically and economically orientated campaigns where players are 'decision makers') to 'low level' (players are more traditional 'adventurers' or 'employees', rather than the employers) campaigns. - Political Manoeverings. Players take the roles of Imperial Commanders of the subsectors of the Anargo sector or high ranking members of their entourage. The specific scenario depends on the time period of Anargo, and can range from machinations developing from the arrival of the Rogue Trader, to tension between Dorvastor and Anargo resulting from their opposed opinions of the adeptus ministorum, to the corporate/economic tension between Anargo and Meksum.
- Assasination! Players are hired to assassinate (or prevent the assassination) of an opponent (or ally/friend) who is present in an official capacity at the Convocation.
The Wargame and Anargo[/u][/size] The ConvocationAs with the RPG, the Anargan Convocation offers a number of points at which a specific 'wargame scenario' can be introduced. - Ambush! A ship of an important member of the Convocation is ambushed by 'pirates' at the Warp Zone. Can the outnumbered force survive long enough for reinforcements from the Anargo System Defence Fleet to arrive? (Note: Obviously this can link to political/mystery RPG adventures, or even Inquisitor skirmish-level campaigns as the supports of the 'pirates' are traced and identified.)
