the rest, i'm well aware of how subjective perception is, and you've certainly listed many reasons that the Nomin could be wrong. let us, however, make sure we seperate in character statements from out of character statements. All the statements I make on this board are made as either a poster or in my official capacity as a moderator. If you wish to have an "in" character discussion please do so in either the fiction forum as it pertains to a story idea or in general discussion. The following is written in my capacity as a Moderator speaking to a contributor to this forum...although I find it funny that after your original posting of the Nomin concept, most of your posts have had little substance beyond railing against the status quo....however back to a word from your Moderator. The Anargo Sector Project must in order to have any degree of continutity have one overriding point of view. Since the project was originated by Kage, he has final say.You can take that however you wish pudding. If you think that this statement invalidates the beliefs of the Nomin, then so be it. I am beyond the point of arguing who or what is right or wrong. This is simply the way things are. If you are not capable of living with or working within the confines of the above statement, then perhaps the ASP is not the right fit for your talents.

re: my sources, Rogue Trader. RT says the Emperor died of old age, I double checked and I can’t find a bit that says the Emperor died of old age, could you point me to the right page?

pg 135, 'The strain of his constant vigilance has taken a heavy toll upon a man that was once human, for now his body can no longer support life, and his shattered carcass remains intact only because it is held by a spirit itself sustained by the strangest of machinery - ancient artifacts constructed by the Emperor in an eldar age.'
that's the strain of vigilance, not kicking Horus' ass, that took its toll. and this is me checking out; toodles.

That doesn’t say he died of old age.
It doesn’t rule out Horus.

By Pudding checking out, I assume he meant that he has left the Anargo Sector Project. While I am a bit disappointed that he just gave up, I can't say I'm very surprised.
For the record, I agree 100% with Philip. It does not say that he died of old age.
Well, I guess this means this thread is effectively over, but I'll leave it here for other people to be inspired. I still think a faction like the Nomin within the Anargo sector is interesting, so I leave it to someone else to borrow from this idea.
