From 'Slaves to Darkness', page 217
Even a sensei may not be aware of his true nature until he meets another of his kind. He is simply a man who does not age. Only when he meets, or is drawn to, another sensei does the truth emerge. The new sensei is taught that he has other abilities: the power to tap warpspace and channel the energy gained into combat; the power to sense deamons and and feel disturbances in the flow of the warp; the power to remain hidden from any psychic. Once trained the new sensei is inducted into the Brotherhood and burdened with the knowledge of his fate; to battle against Chaos. They gather followers and await the terrible final battle with the forces of Chaos. Most take this as the price of their powers, a few defy their brother sensei and flee to chaos becoming Grey Sensei, amongst the cruellest servants of darkness.

I wasn't questioning your honesty; I believed you when you said there were Grey Sensei - I was just saying that it didn't make sense, and that I didn't like the idea. I'd like to bring back a lot of old fluff, but not the stuff I don't like. Of course, this is up to the majority, and ultimately, Kage...

The Grey Sensei are one of those things that would make a change, since they haven't been featured that much in the 'fluff'. More so now that GW is squashing some of the older and more interesting 'fluff'. But there we go... Basically depends on what the author wants to do. But having yet another Marine or whatever doesn't particularly inspire me... Kage

I was just trying to show you where the Grey sensei came from CELS .. figured the easiest way would be just to copy that paragraph or so in.
Changing him over to a Grey sensei is do-able .. I don't think it would alter the other aspects that much.
