Alright! I've found a world which can be suitable for Knight walkers!
Concept: Nova Cerkes supplies Proteus with food, lumber and other agri-cultural goods. It has a quite low gravity, so vegetation grows much larger than on worlds with standard gravity. Trees can reach hundreds of meters tall, and vegetables can grow to the size of a man. In the dense vegetation, Knight walkers can easily stride through terrain that would slow down infantry and maintain a good line of sight where tanks would be blind.
Because of the low gravity, the heavy Knight Walkers which would be slow and cumbersome on worlds with normal gravity, can move with amazing agility considering their mass.
This world is technologically advanced and is much more capable of sustaining itself than Greavedale, but does not have quite enough industry to maintain its high technology.

Erm at the risk of enraging you this world has a gravity .356 greater than earth, not exactly low But the way I see it it will still work, heavy weapons might be just to darned heavy to carry so they mount them on the knights, which I would point out would be unlikely to be hindered by the gravity. They would have been designed to operate in a high grav enviroment. The star, rather than gravity would have a more pronounced effect on vegitation. The low levels of blue light emitted by an M class star mean plants would need larger leaves, so ground coverage would be increased as the plant tries to maximise the amount of light it absorbs. It might be they still grow tall, but they would be dense, forests would have no plants at ground level as the trees would block all light reaching the ground. Root vegetables might indeed be massive as the plant stores more starch and sugar in its roots to compensate for the poor light, though that is purely speculative so don't quote me. That would still be the case I would imagine. So its a decaying society, gradfually falling back into barbarism. But why would the mechanicus alow that, by the looks of it this would be a much more productive world than greavesdale.

Ok no probs, heres the relevant data you will need to change 7,300 miles (11,680 km) Planet Density: Molten Core, 0.94 terra World Mass: 0.63 terra World Gravity: 0.823 terra Ok, the world now has low gravity, and the original data showing a high gravity has been changed. Hmm, I'm not so sure about this. Not much light reaches ground level in rain forests either, but there are a lot of plants there. It's the same for Norwegian forests where you can sometimes only see the occassional ray of sunlight stabbing through the darkness. The ground is still covered with moss and other vegetation. I want to create a very varied planet life on this world. This would be interesting! If someone could confirm or deny this, I would appreciate it, since this is primarily an agri-world. You misunderstand me. It's not actually decaying, because the Adeptus Mechanicus help them. Without the Adeptus Mechanicus though, they would not be able to maintain their high level of technology. Again, I'm trying to create a strange-hold for the Adeptus Mechanicus, to keep the world docile

Yes on earth that is mostly true, but have you ever been to scotland, they have primordial forests, the trees are so densly packed no light reaches the ground, which is almost utterly devoid of any other plants, so tres on your world, they still use the sun as a source of energy would need massive leaves, and these would blot out virtualy all the light. Let me explain. The star, which is M class emits almost no high energy radiation, no UV and very little blue light, and its the blue light plants on earth are dependant on for their food. So plants on worlds orbiting M class stars either find another means of making energy or they increase the size of their leaves to maximise the amount of light which hits them. You will definatly have a varied plant life, as much of it might well be so strange you would have nothing to compare it to.

I'm going to expand on my concept here. Hopefully more people will comment soon. I need some feedback, people! Planet DescriptionNova Cerkes was been successfully terraformed in the Age of Technology, and it is now a beautiful, lush world with most of its surface dedicated to agri-culture. With the aid of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the people of Nova Cerkes have been able to live in harmony with nature for more than ten thousand years, despite the world having a considerable population and quite advanced technology. GovernmentMembers of the government, including the supreme ruler of Nova Cerkes, are chosen based on tests performed by the Adeptus Mechanicus and grades from education. An elitist bureaucracy in most regards. ReligionNova Cerkes embraced the Cult Mechanicus and its religion, and its people are firm believers of the Machine God. Still, over the millennia, the influence of the Ministorum has started to sneak into the beliefs of the people, and its becoming increasingly common to incorporate some aspects of the Imperial cult, especially amongst the lower classes. The high class citizens and the well educated have a firm belief in the Cult Mechanicus, not unlike the tech priests themselves. Society and lawNova Cerkes has a very elitist society, where rich citizens and soldiers form a high class with great status and privilege. Children are tested by the Adeptus Mechanicus, and based on mental strength, intelligence, and physical characteristics, they are assigned to different types of education. The society of Nova Cerkes is similar to a caste system in that there is great division between social classes, in terms of economy, status, rights and more. The social positions are not hereditary however, and it is not unusual for a child of two parents with high status to be assigned to a low class because of low intelligence or lacking physical characteristics. TechnologyWith the aid of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Nova Cerkes enjoys a high level of technology. Very few are educated to understand this technology however, as most expertise comes from the Adepts of Proteus, and this gives the Adeptus Mechanicus quite a stranglehold on Nova Cerkes. Trade and TithesNova Cerkes has agri-culture as its main export, rom fine lumber to perfume or delicious food. Most of these goods go directly to Proteus, but some can actually be bought by free traders in the space ports of Proteus and sold on other worlds. PhysiologyBecause of the low gravity and high levels of material wealth and technology, most of the population on Nova Cerkes is tall and slim, with quite low muscle mass and fragile bones. Even the lowest class of peasants are unfamiliar with manual labour. PsychologyThere are quite notable differences in personality between the social classes of Nova Cerkes. While the low class clearly identify themselves as part of groups and are humble beings, most people in the high class are very individualistic and may strike offworlders as arrogant. Whereas the low class are told from childhood that they are inferior and that they are nothing on their own, the high class is raised with the knowledge of their superior abilities and clearly marked by their fierce internal competition. The low class citizens go through life with no illusions or dreams of getting important jobs, and the high class citizens constantly struggle for greater personal glory. Language and dialectStandard low gothic, mostly. Planetary Defence ForceMilitary service is mandatory for all low class citizens. After one year of training and testing, some may choose to pursue a military career, while the majority are reserves. Some high class citizens become Knights and join the Cohorts. The Cohorts are ancient formations of Knight walker units, and are the elite fighting units of Nova Cerkes. History

You don't make it easy do you, from what youve got so far it looks fine, what more can I say. Eh, this is the imperium of man isn't it, unfamiliar with manual labour, this is more of a paradise than Seleca You might think i'm being a twit, but what the hell would the Adeptus Mechanicus want with fine foods, wouldn't a thick grey nutrient paste be more to there liking, they are after all trying to purge themselves of the desires of the flesh in favour of machine perfection aren't they. besides most of them don't even have mouths. nice bit of roman military influence there, 600 men in a cohort wasn't there, are you looking to have similar numbers of knights. Thats quite different to the normal run of things, very interesting. This seems to be quite an enlightened society.

You don't make it easy do you, from what youve got so far it looks fine, what more can I say. Apparently, quite a bit Just because they are unfamiliar with manual labour doesn't mean that this is paradise. Try driving a wheat harvester 16 hours a day Just because the foods of Nova Cerkes are fine and tasty doesn't mean that the tech-priests on Proteus eat grilled chicken with grape stuffing for lunch. It's quite likely that they'd take a shipment of shellfish, root vegetables and fruit, grind it into paste and suck it up through a hole in their chest. But... the food that isn't consumed by the citizens of Proteus can be sold via Proteus to other worlds, where they would be more appreciated. You're quite right, but once again I don't want my inspiration to be too restrictive. In other words, I won't have each Cohort consisting of six Centuries led by a Centurion. In fact, I don't think the Cohorts will have 600 men either. It's not like the Titan Legions have 6000 men. Heh. Most people would be terrified of such an elitist society. Indeed, many people are frightened by the increased knowledge of DNA, since they fear that our society will turn into something like this. If you take the idea behind this society far enough, you'll quickly see similarities with the Nazi ideology.

With the aid of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the people of Nova Cerkes have been able to live in harmony with nature for more than ten thousand years, despite the world having a considerable population compared to Imperial agriworlds and quite advanced technology. Nova Cerkes is has low gravity, letting its abundant vegetation grow tall. The people of Nova Cerkes, and even the imported animals also grow longer and slimmer than normal, and move gracefully in the low gravity. Most of the land on Nova Cerkes is cultivated, and the endless plains of different plants, organised in neat patterns, can be seen even from orbit given clear weather. Like most Knight worlds, Nova Cerkes is dedicated entirely to the service of the Adeptus Mechanicus, it supplies the forgeworld Proteus with great amounts of food, in return for the protection and guidance of the Tech Priests. Still, other Imperial organisations are gaining hold on the world, and an increasing number of citizens seek the Adeptus Ministorum or even the Imperial Guard. This great division creates a lot of tension on Nova Cerkes, and though the world is without doubt considered the sovereign of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the High Council of Proteus is increasingly worried about this development. Significant locations:Sciron - Sciron is the capital of Nova Cerkes, but is relatively small for its population. The buildings of Sciron are fantastically tall, with an average just below a kilometer in height in the heart of the city. The low gravity of Nova Cerkes allows the construction of long bridges between buildings, and the use of airborne vehicles propelled by turbofans is common. Vehicles operating on fossilized fuel are forbidden, so while the wealthy use cleaner sources of energy the poor often use horses and other beasts for transportation. Ladon - The small continent that is home to the Knight Cohorts of Nova Cerkes. To avoid too much pollution and collateral damage from the activities of the Knight Cohorts, they are permanently placed on Ladon except in times of war. It is a wild and mostly untouched continent, where the Knights walk day and night to hone their skills. Government:Nova Cerkes is considered a monarchy, but its Monarch normally has extremely little influence. The global government of Nova Cerkes is divided into World Parlament as the legislative branch, the Knights as the judicial branch and the Enforcers as the executive branch. Nova Cerkes has a very unusual form of parlament that is clearly influenced by certain factions of the Adeptus Mechanicus. This parlament is perhaps best described as an elitist bureaucracy, as members are chosen mostly because of their genetic composition and various personality tests and intelligence tests. These tests are performed by the tech priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus, letting them hand pick most of the government on the world. The ruler of Nova Cerkes holds the title of Monarch, but this title is not strictly hereditary. If the Monarch fails to produce a viable heir with a higher than average intelligence, all nobles with pure blood can assume the position of Monarch, if they score higher on the genetic testing of the tech priests. These tests are based on genetic similarity with the previous Monarch, mental and physical characteristics, social skills and so forth. Whether or not these tests are accurate is a matter of discussion, but this tradition has remained unchanged for millennia and the population of Nova Cerkes are mostly content with their Monarch rulers. The Monarch holds little power other than the ability to veto the Parlament, but this is almost unheard of and has not happened for centuries. Religion:The population of Nova Cerkes is almost split in half, with followers of the Cult Mechanicus on one side and followers of the Cult Imperialis on the other side. Needless to say, this creates a lot of tension, and violent conflicts between people of different religion are increasingly common. A minority of the population are followers of the so-called Church of Enlightment, which combines these two religions. The teachings of this Church state that the Machine God is an aspect of the Emperor's eternal spirit and that to reach true enlightment, one must approach the Emperor through a search for knowledge as well as spiritual purity. Society and law:On Nova Cerkes, children are tested extensively at the age of five years standard. Tech Priests from Proteus take a sample of their DNA and check indications of intelligence, physical characteristics and potential flaws, before dividing the children into groups. These tests are continued in periods of three to five years, untill the children grow up and are given their ideal occupation. Though expensive and offensive to some offworlders, this method of testing has proved highly successful on Nova Cerkes. Even the children of the Monarch and his Knights are tested and categorised, and it is not uncommon that the children of parents with high status are found 'flawed' and used as lowly workers. For this reason, those who can afford it often prefer to have several children, in order to ensure that at least one child will let the legacy live on. The division of children often leads to families being seperated on Nova Cerkes. For example, if a family of farmers has a child that shows an aptitude for academic studies, the child can be taken away from the farm and brought to the capital to receive education and be given work. In an opposite situation, a family with high status and important jobs can have a child with a below average intelligence, resulting in the child being transferred to the districts where it can be trained for a life on the farm. Because of this system, the schools of Nova Cerkes often have a large percentage of their students living in campus untill graduation. The land of Nova Cerkes is divided into regions called 'holds', which are owned by noble Knight warriors. The position of Knight is hereditary and the Hold with it, but should a Knight fail to produce an appropriate heir, the land is free for other Knights to purchase for their own heirs. Knights have a minimal role in government on Nova Cerkes, as they spend the majority of their time on the continent Ladon, in training. When they return home, they spend most of their time raising a family and supervising the work of their employees. Administration is handled by employees trained by the tech priests. Nova Cerkes has an extremely strict law and crime is fairly low on this world. The law is written by the global parlament and enforced by the Monarch's organisation of law enforcers (known simply as the enforcers). The judge in a trial is always the Knight of the Hold, and so Knights have to return home at least once in thirty days standard for the trials.

Technology Nova Cerkes has a relatively high level of technology for an Imperial world, and is especially known for its clean energy. Agriculture is the world's main commodity, so unneccessary pollution must be avoided at all costs. Since Nova Cerkes already had rather advanced technology when the Adeptus Mechanicus first found this world, the tech priests have a very small role in society and are mostly concerned with education and testing.
Trade and tithes: As a Knight world, Nova Cerkes sends all export to Proteus, where the great amounts of food and other agricultural goods are either consumed or sold. Nova Cerkes does not tithe to the Imperium and cannot engage in considerable trade with other worlds without the permission of Proteus.
The most important products from Nova Cerkes are edible plants, animals, fish and insects, lumber and plants needed for medicine. In addition to this, the planet has countless other exports, such as flowers used for perfume, animals used as pets and other luxury goods.
Physiology: Nova Cerkes is a low gravity world, so its people are tall and thin. Their bones are somewhat fragile because of the gravity, and they will often have difficulties moving about on worlds with normal or high gravity. While the people from Nova Cerkes are graceful creatures in their home element, they often appear weak and fragile on other worlds, at first.
Soldiers are an exception to this rule, as they often train hard to prepare for offworld combat, increasing their muscle mass and doing exercises in facilities with gravity-plates.
Psychology: Obviously, the elitism of Nova Cerkes has a profound effect on the personality of its people. While some people are raised with the knowledge that they are inferior and have little value, others are raised thinking that they are better than everyone else and deserve more than anyone else. Lowly workers on Nova Cerkes often grow up with low self-esteem, greatly dependent on friends and co-workers to make decisions. On the plus side, they become extremely social and sympathetic. Those on Nova Cerkes with important jobs within the government, the world's intellectual elite, often have problems with unrealistic expectations of their own abilities, a deep loneliness and an unquencheable thirst for glory. Fortunately, they typically have great self-esteem and are very independent people. That the elitism of Nova Cerkes has an extremely negative psychological impact on special groups in the population is beyond doubt, and eventhough the world seems very successful on the surface, the number of suicides per year is alarming.
Language and dialect: Though the local dialect is quite similar to Low Gothic, people from Nova Cerkes tend to speak a lot more slow than normal. Offworlders find this either fantastically amusing or extremely annoying, and the feeling is often mutual, since people from Nova Cerkes can have difficulties keeping up with the offworlders.
Planetary defence forces: The Cerkesan PDF can be divided into three different independent organisations; The Cerkesan Militia, the Knight Cohorts and the Royal Guard. The Cerkesan Militia is responsible for training and equipping over ten percent of the Cerkesan population, though less than one percent of the population is normally active. The militia has rather cheap and simple equipment and are trained in guerilla warfare.
The Knight Cohorts are a vital part of the Cerkesan PDF, with the best training and equipment the world has to offer. There are over a hundred Cohorts on Nova Cerkes, each with up to a hundred Knight walkers and supporting elements such as mechanised infantry, sanitation, logistics, communication and combat engineers. All together, a Cohort normally has around three thousand soldiers. Each Cohort is a totally independent fighting unit, prepared to fight off invaders on Nova Cerkes or join the Adeptus Mechanicus on Proteus. The Cohorts strive to uphold their identity, tradition and combat doctrine, and this has led to occassional rivalry between Cohorts, sometimes resulting in ritualised mortal combat. Similar to some Adeptus Astartes Chapters, the Cohorts are given names and heraldry to match their purpose and combat doctrine. For example, the Black Wolf Cohort specializes in hit-and-run attacks, preying on vulnerable points in the enemy's lines. The Ghost Lynx Cohort specializes in stealth, attacking behind enemy lines and operating in small units for long periods of time. The Thunder Bull Cohort specializes in full frontal assault, spearheading attacks for the Royal Guard and Cerkesan Militia.
In the Knight Cohorts, the noble Knights are the leaders. The supporting soldiers in mechanised infantry and other branches are typically recruited from the same region as the Knights themselves.
The Royal Guard is a multi-task organisation, providing orbital defence as well as fighting on land, at sea and in the air. The Royal Guard maintains a force consisting of roughly 0.5 % of the global population, and these are mostly professional soldiers. The Royal Guard is well equipped, though not to the standards of the Knight Cohorts. Training is quite hard however, and the people of Nova Cerkes often boast that their members of the Royal Guard are on a par with soldiers in the Imperial Guard, though this is not completely accurate.
History: Nova Cerkes was originally colonised in the Age of Technology in year 418 of the 24th millennium. Presumably, the name comes from the colonists' original homeworld, but the Imperium has no further record of this world called Cerkes. Whatever their origins, the colonists came with advanced technology and succesfully terraformed Nova Cerkes to develop a balanced terran ecosystem, adapted to the low gravity of this world and the little light from the red star of the Juktas system.
Only two hundred years after Nova Cerkes had been colonised, disaster struck. A splinter fleet of the Spirian empire, broken off after a failed attack in the Anargo subsector, arrived in the Juktas system to repair. The aliens quickly found the newly colonised human world and immediately attacked in their thirst for revenge against humans. After almost a year of war, the Spirians were defeated, but Nova Cerkes had suffered great casualties and was left vulnerable for new attacks. The process of terraforming had been set back by several decades, and for many years, the Cerkesans lived in fear.
In 709.M24, the Cult Mechanicus arrived in the Juktas system, seeking allies. The Protean tech-priests offered protection, much new technology and help with terraforming and Nova Cerkes was soon made a Knight world of the Cult Mechanicus and sovereign of Proteus. For millennia to come, Nova Cerkes would live in relative peace under the protection of the Proteus and her great fleets.
When the Horus Heresy reached the Anargo sector, the Cerkesans were quickly woken from their peaceful dream as Chaos forces spread like a plague. Proteus was brought to its knees by the Alpha Legion and its followers, and Nova Cerkes was only given minimal help. As Chaos armies fell upon the vulnerable Knight World, Nova Cerkes sent a plea to the Imperium. Their prayers were answered by the Ultramarines, who dispatched several companies to stop the Chaos invasion. With the help of the Space Marines, Nova Cerkes was able to destroy the Chaos armies, and this opened the eyes of the Cerkesans to the loyalty of the Imperial armies. There were some that even suggested that Nova Cerkes should distance itself from Proteus and tithe to the Imperium as a fully Imperial world.
The Cerkesans' faith in the Adeptus Mechanicus was restored during the Age of Apostasy, when the powers of Anargo suddenly made unreasonable demands from Nova Cerkes, ordering them to pay high tithes to Anargo and Lord Vandire. The tech priests of Proteus were quick to refuse these demands and as the armies of Anargo came to punish the rebels, the Adeptus Mechanicus defended Nova Cerkes with fantastic zeal. For centuries, the Adeptus Mechanicus defended Nova Cerkes and other worlds in the Archaios subsectors, and even other subsectors, with the help of the Adeptus Astartes Frost Bringers. When the Age of Apostasy ended with the death of Lord Vandire, the people of Nova Cerkes were left with feelings of bitterness and distrust towards the rest of the Imperium and the Imperial church, finding renewed loyalty towards Proteus.
The faith in the Imperium would be renewed in what is known as the second Chaos War in the Archaios subsector. As the Alpha Legion rose again in the Anargo sector in 533.M38, the situation in the Archaios sector was frighteningly similar to that of the Horus Heresy. Once again, Proteus was unable to give full assistance to Nova Cerkes, and once again, Chaos forces invaded the Knight world. This time, the Imperium was able to offer swift response, and a battlegroup of the Imperial Guard supported by the Adeptas Sororitas supported the Cerkesan defence. As the war reached its climax, these Daughters of the Emperor reintroduced the Imperial creed to the Cerkesan people, announcing that this war could only be won if the Cerkesans had faith in the Emperor. Inspired by the fanatical speeches of the Sororitas and the great sacrifices of the Sisters of Battle, millions converted overnight to the Imperial creed. The Cerkesans were successful in defending their planet, and when the war was over, the Ecclessiarchy had a strong hold on Nova Cerkes, thanks to the Adeptas Sororitas.

Timeline: [/li][li] 418.M24 - The Juktas system is colonised. Juktas Primus is named Nova Cerkes.
[/li][li] 640.M24 - A splinter fleet of Spirians attacks Nova Cerkes. The Spirians are defeated, but Nova Cerkes has taken much damage and is left vulnerable for new attacks.
[/li][li] 709.M24 - The Cult Mechanicus arrives in the Juktas system. Offering protection and new technology, they make Nova Cerkes a Knight world and claim it as sovereign of Mars.
[/li][li] 015.M31 - The Ultramarine liberation begins in the Anargo sector, and whilst Proteus is brought to its knees by the Horus Heresy, the Ultramarines play a vital role in defending Nova Cerkes.
[/li][li] 244.M36 - The Vandire loyalists in the Anargo subsector demand tithes from Nova Cerkes. Proteus is quick to refuse their demands and several large battles follow.
[/li][li] 288.M36 - As the Meksum and Sargassos subsector rebel against the capital, Anargo, the pressure on the Archaios subsector and Nova Cerkes drops.
[/li][li] 533.M38 - In what is known as the second Chaos war, the Alpha Legion and their cults reappear on Nova Cerkes. Again, Proteus is unable to give full assistance to Nova Cerkes, and the Imperium sends a small battle group with Imperial Guardsmen and a detachment of Sisters of Battle. These Sisters of Battle play a central part in revitalising the Cult Imperialis on Nova Cerkes.
[/li][li] 115.M41 - The invasion of Prince Khal begins. The Dark Eldar launch a series of raids in the Juktas system and many atrocities are commited against the population of Nova Cerkes.
[/li][li] 398.M41 - The Dark Eldar return to Nova Cerkes in great numbers. This time, the PDF of Nova Cerkes has learned from the invasion of Prince Khal and stand prepared, but the Dark Eldar are almost impossible to bring to open battle. Casualties are great on both sides.
Glossary: Cohort - A largely independent formation of Knight Walkers with its own support branches, including logistics, sanitation and combat engineers. The Cohorts vary in size, but normally have about a thousand men and up to a hundred Knight walkers.
Enforcer - A law enforcer of the Monarch's Global Police.
Hold - An area of land under nominal control of a Knight or noble. In practice, a Hold is mostly the same as a 'county' on other Imperial worlds.
Knight - A noble who serves as an elite warrior, judge and governor.
Knight walker - The fighting machine of the Knights, created by the Adeptus Mechanicus. Standing over ten meters tall, these machines are extremely powerful.
Monarch - A quasi-hereditary title for the ruler and Imperial Commander of Nova Cerkes.
Local customs: Long fingernails - Since true manual labour is almost unheard of on Nova Cerkes, it is considered a mark of wealth and class to have long fingernails. Both men and women have long fingernails on Nova Cerkes, and the especially wealthy typically have especially long and decorated ones. Only two groups of people normally have short fingernails on Nova Cerkes; slaves and soldiers.
Facial tattoos - Soldiers of Nova Cerkes are usually given different types of facial tattoos according to their specialty and rank. This is an ancient tradition, traced back to the first Knights of Nova Cerkes, who had MIU sockets and electoos on their head to assist in operating their Knight walkers. The Knights of Nova Cerkes still have such implants, and next to the delicate figure of the typical citizen of Nova Cerkes, these well-built warriors with mechanical implants are a fearsome sight.
Eating order - Though the origins of this tradition have been forgotten, the custom of a specific eating order is an important one on Nova Cerkes. Nobles and soldiers always eat first on this world. Only when they have finished eating and drinking and placed their cup or glass upside down can others be allowed to start the meal. In some regions of Nova Cerkes, it is the men who start eating, and the women and children who must wait.

Question!
What do I call people from Nova Cerkes? People from Meksum are Meksumians, people from Proteus are Protean, so... what do I call people from Nova Cerkes?

Don't take this a criticism CELS, but why does such a world have Knight Walkers? There doesn't seem to be any significant threat to the world that would reqyuire their presence...unless this is something you have yet to add.
While I agree that it would be easy for the knight walkers to stride through the terrain, their ability to hunt down those that would use the dense folliage for cover would be severly limited. Similar to fighting an air battle, knight walkers are effective for taking out fixed enemy positions or visible targets.
The also have the advantage of being able to take and hold positions, but rooting out an enemy when they go to ground would still fall to ground pounders (ground troops).

Don't take this a criticism CELS, but why does such a world have Knight Walkers? There doesn't seem to be any significant threat to the world that would reqyuire their presence...unless this is something you have yet to add. If you read the time-line for this world, you'll see that their presence has been required several times. Granted, the ork empire is far away, but you never know when a stray ork fleet, dark eldar fleet, chaos army or whatever comes knocking on your door. Nova Cerkes is no safer than any other worlds in the Archaios subsector, and eventhough Proteus is obliged to protect it, that doesn't mean they can just get rid of their PDF. Besides, Knight worlds are often called upon to help their forgeworld. In the old Epic games, you could take a limited number of Knight walkers to support your Imperial army. I see Knight walkers as fast striking units that can be very effective for flanking the enemy (especially in dense folliage) but that can also outfight most armored units. Visible targets? Sure, but I don't see why you couldn't equip a Knight walker with a mortar. Yes, they are definitely in need of infantry support, like tanks, and this is confirmed by Epic players who have seen the Knight walkers used in a game. Throw enough infantry at them, and they're swamped. But Nova Cerkes isn't just covered with forests. It's an agri-world, so there would be a lot of fields and open terrain.

Is it "Nova Cerkes is a low gravity world" or "Nova Cerkes has low gravity" Why not replace "plants" with "crops" it just sounds more agricultural. if you insert "and" after the comma it would make more sense/sound better. Could they not use methane as a fuel, not sure how clean it is but I think its much cleaner than most fossil fuels(and with all those animals should be in plentiful supply) Parliament ;D Its bloody more miserable than Kolkhoz, the future really is grim. "on the continent of Ladon" sounds better. They might not be able to use fossil fuels but might they not still export it off world, there should be plenty of it what with the abundance of plant life on this world. Why not replace self-esteem with self confidence, as you have used self esteem in the previous sentence. Barbarians Well everything else looks fine to me, so there you go.
