This project details the Anargo Sector in year 470.M41, an old Imperial sector that was conquered in the name of the Imperium during the Great crusade. The Anargo sector is located somewhere towards the Eastern fringe of Segmentum Ultima, and though it is far from Earth, it is located in a region of relative order, where the Imperium is strong.

The Anargo sector consists of six different subsectors. The Anargo subsector has the sector capitol Anargo, and is probably the most shielded of the six subsectors. Compared to some of the other subsectors, the Anargo subsector has known relatively little war since the Age of Apostasy, when it became the new capitol after the Sargassos subsector.
The Meksum subsector is a heavily populated subsectors, containing two of the sector's five hive worlds. Its capitol Meksum is considered by some to rival Anargo as the commercial heart of the sector, the ancient hiveworld constantly surrounded by great merchant fleets and rogue trader ships.
In the Dorvastor subsector, the Cardinal world Dorvastor is the seat of power for the Ministorum in this region. The subsector contains several locations visited by pilgrims from distant sectors, such as shrine worlds with temples that the Emperor himself is said to have visited. The Dorvastor subsector also has strong Naval traditions, and is a major source for crew for the Imperial Navy.
The Castellan subsector has the fortress worlds that keep the Anargo sector safe by fending off the invasions of the ork empire in Anargo. For millennia, the soldiers of the Castellan subsector have given their lives to stop the Orks from spreading from the Cruciatine sector, where they have already caused untold carnage and destruction. The Castellan subsector also contains several agri-worlds that help feed the Anargo sector.
The Archaios subsector has most of the industrial worlds in the sector, not to mention the forgeworld Proteus that was colonised by the Adeptus Mechanicus as early as M21. Constructing machines of war for the Imperial Navy, Adeptus Astartes and Imperial Guard, this subsector has many strategically critical worlds. Thankfully, it has known relatively little war over the millennia, its main threat in 470.M41 being that of Dark Eldar raiders.
The mysterious Sargassos subsector is entirely different from the other subsectors. During the Age of Apostasy, the Sargassos subsector fell to the corruption of Chaos, and was completely annihilated by Imperial forces. In 470.M41, the subsector is almost totally uninhabited, and fiercely guarded by the Imperial military, who have put most of the subsector under quarantine.
+ + +
Though it has a long history of war against both internal and external enemies, the Anargo sector is a productive and powerful sector in 470.M41, and most of its citizens are kept safe from the enemies of Man. The greatest defined threat in the Anargo sector is the Ork Empire of Warlord Morzkraga. Consisting of about ten ork-held worlds, this empire has been at constant war with the Anargo sector for centuries, held off by the fortress worlds in the Castellan subsector.
Other enemies include Dark Eldar pirates, remnants of the Alpha Legion and their cults on Imperial worlds, and genestealer cults, to name but a few.
