Lol Thats right, cos some handsome devil in another sub has done that I don't know like, size 3 world would need serious technological support, these people are going to have serious problems due to the low gravity, also their atmosphere will have to be artificially maintained all these things take alot of power, would nuclear energy be able to supply it or would they need plasma reactors aswell. Also the world is to small to have maintaind an internal heat source so that would mean yet more power would be needed for that. The tech level should be the number that reflects the requied tehnological need for survival not the overall general tech requirements. So give it a level of 9, but say that most of the population only use a lower level of tech in their daily lives.

Thats right, cos some handsome devil in another sub has done that I don't know about handsome, but yeah Interesting. Like what? Why? Are you using common sense TM now? Nuclear energy is much more fun! Strange... I seem to recall that we have moons in the Anargo sub that are alive with volcanic activity... The tech level represents the average technology level on the planet. Not the most advanced energy sources, nor the tech level of the home of the working class. Average

like physiology, people will be effected, they will be all weak and stringy not exactly good traits for heavy mining. Yes I know, so they use mining equipment, but it will have to be custom built so they can use it, it wouldn't be straight off the shelf stuff. Also tall bean poles and tunnels, there was a reason why squats were short more material has to be removed to accomodate them. Plants do not grow to well in low grave enviroments either, and what about mineral refinement, I wouldn't like to work in a foundry on this world, the molten metal would be all over the place. Well small bodies do not have enough gravity to attract much atmosphere let alone hold onto it, so they wouldn't be able to just pump it in from the surface, they would have to augment what ever was available. but this is an almost sealed enviroment so I supose they could just endlessly recycle it. Can't really argue with such a scientific rebutal I concur True...but they have larger objects with more gravity acting on them, what could be causing gravitational friction to occur on Elias, if it had moons of its own or was itself a moon of a gas giant then I wouldn't have said anything. Well...ok then

Yes I know, so they use mining equipment, but it will have to be custom built so they can use it, it wouldn't be straight off the shelf stuff. Unless this happens to be the only low gravity world in the Imperium with mining.. that shouldn't be a big problem It's not exactly as if they'll be mining with pick axes and shovels, is it? They'll be using equipment and large mining machines, so this isn't really a problem, as I see it. Depends on just how low, I imagine. LoL! It's not exactly zero gravity... yes, it would be slightly more difficult, but far from impossible. The Imperium builds star ships the size of Manhattan. I'm sure they have figured out a way to refine metals in relatively low gravity So now we're abandoning the UWP altogether, and just using "common sense"? Let's not go crazy, Dazo. I suppose you might have a point. But then, I never had a clue to begin with ;D

Two quick questions:
1) The people of Elina would be called Elinians, correct? I'm just making sure, since English isn't my native language.
2) What is the current date in the Anargo Sector?
SR coming along nicely, unfortunately I'm going to leave the town for christmas in two days, so you're going to have to wait 'till next year for the conclusion.

I'm back again. Standard Representation is nearly done, but since we are going to set the UWP's in stone according to the mission statement, I thought I'd post my finalized UWP now.
5,27,23 - M-V - E355715-8 Ag 124 Im 162 Small world (3), Thin Atmosphere (5), wet world (50%), Tens of millions citizens (7), Corporative control(1), Moderate law, concealed weapons prohibited (5), Tech level 8

Status update: Sorry for my recent absence. I've had some problems in real life (all caused by my own stupidity, so no real excuses here). However, I have a week long vacation next week, so I think I should be able to get the SR done near the end of that week.

LoL! If you say so Just shout if you have any questions, by the way. Don't feel that because it's been so long, you have to finish all your work in one go

Just adding the last finishing touches... One question though, do I need to include asteroid belts and empty orbits in to the SR, like the Gas Giants are included?
Oh! The map! The last few finishing touches then...

Empty orbits need not be included. Asteroid fields should be included, since these may or may not hold valuable minerals that are mined by the Imperium. You don't have to post everything in one go, though! Let's see what you have, and then you can work on the map while we discuss the text
