;D cheers, i'm still in the process of doing the H' guard and commader/officer type with his armour on a stand/frame type thing, i've also done one talking to an imperial guard on the battlements, as per that diagram you sent me,the trouble is everytime i get stuck on one picture i go and start another, that's how my last pic *nag city*was created .. if you want i'll send you the concepts (all in rough) and then you can tell me where i'm going wrong or change things you don't like?.. example * the guard talking/interagating the I.G man has a sort of ,joan of arc/crecy type hairdo (he's carrying his helmet). and i think it looks good even 'tho that style looks silly?

As much as I like to see my words come to life, Jud... doesn't that novice's skull look a bit odd to you? I like the atmosphere and motif of the picture, but the novice looks like a mutant...
He also looks a bit old. A Novice should be 30 years at most, by my calculations.

that's why i also said mage, because he is old.and yes his head is suposed to be mishapened.instead of just putting a round plate in his head i figured that if they wanted to 'expand /extend the cranium this is how they'd do it? they wouldn't think .hmmm ''lets make him look pretty for the girls''? i wanted to make it look elongated to give the impression that it wasn't part of him..functional not pleasing to the eye at the local Inperium nightclub ;D img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/juddski/sisters.jpgimg.photobucket.com/albums/v420/juddski/workshop.jpga couple more. no1 sisters..i just did it to see if i could draw females? no2 work shop ?,inspired by Cels..

You posted in your article that members might eventually not look humanoid at all anymore once they go crazy on the bionice, this might be an example?

Ah, didn't see that you wrote mage there, Malika, sorry I didn't mean the metal part of his skull either. I meant everything- his face, the position of his ears, etc. Of course bionic augmentations aren't always supposed to look good, but to look like a mutant isn't exactly desirable in the Imperium. As for me writing that some of the oldest Magi don't look humanoid anymore, I meant that parts of their body had been replaced by machines. Like the Tech Priests who have mechandrites coming out from their back, or the High Council member of Proteus who has six mechanical legs. Only the most radical members of the Magi Biologis would ever want to mutate their own body, I think. Maybe it's a matter of taste. Hell, I'm just being honest Would it be better if I shut up when there was something I didn't quite like?

yeah Red Alert is that game, but in part 2 there is some russian named Yuri who has his own army of clones and other weird goons.
But try to find Jhonen Vasquez work, just look for it on google, you can find pictures from his comics and cartoons...twisted and dark
