Lieutenant Alexander EfstathiosA future hero of the Anargo sector, Efstathios is here seen as a junior officer. As I play more games with him and my IG army grows, I intend to decorate him (Medallion Crimson, Honorifica Imperialis, Macharian Cross) and promote him all the way to Heroic Senior Officer. Meanwhile, I'll write some background for him in the Anargo sector, and follow his career from founding day to his tragic, but heroic death. Converted hellhound. Not much to say, at the moment. How do you like the painting?

Oh, that'll all be there. And I did paint "Archaios VLII" (42) on the small banner on the side But I'll definitely paint a name and unit designation. Imperial honours will come later, when I've played enough games that it deserves them

I love the turret on the Hellhound, but erm...no fuel tanks?

No external fuel tanks, since the rules changed. It's a transport capable of carrying 12 fully equipped soldiers, including a huge heavy weapon. Is it that unlikely that the cargo-room can be used to hold the extremely vulnerable fuel tanks? Or do you think the Imperium prefers to keep them on the outside, just so their commanders can tell whether or not it's a Hellhound from afar?

You make a good point there..it's just that I was used to the old design

Yeah.....doesn;t really seem like a Hellhound without the big honkin' fuel tanks. More logical, but still just....different. Excellent painting skills, though.

I must admit my first thought on seeing it is "Wow, assault cannons!"...
