What is the colourscheme, fluff etc for the anargo sector fleet?
I'm considering starting to play BFG, and would like to model my Imp fleet around that of Anargo.

I am not sure if the ASP has an offical colour sceme yet, however an example of what has aready been done is in "Pictures of CELS' Imperial Forces' (not far below this topic). They are mainly blue with a bit of gold trimming. Very well painted at that . However since I have only just started playing BFG advice on constructing my fleet to sit in line with the Anargo sector would be helpful for me as well.

The colour scheme for Battlefleet Anargo is enchanted / regal blue with a white and golden trim. Prows are traditionally painted white. If you've not yet built your fleet, I suggest you look at the full list of ships, which can be found here kagemat.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=Imperium&thread=1072539646&action=display&start=0In other words, if you have an Oberon class battleship, it will not be a part of Battlefleet Anargo in 470.M41, the current date of the project. There is no specific fluff on Battlefleet Anargo. It's a battlefleet as many others, with countless great victories and defeats. If you look at the events that concern the entire sector, in the timeline (found in the Meta forum), you'll see wars that Battlefleet Anargo has been involved in. Fleetmaster, if you're considering starting to play BFG, consider no more. It's a beautiful game and a brilliant counterpart to 40k in many ways. As for advice on how to construct your fleet, RascalLeader, I assume you mean fleet composition. My experience is this... Dominator class cruisers with Nova cannons are very useful, because they force your enemies to keep their head down. This means that you can direct their attack to a certain degree, and that you may be able to force some of their ships to brace for impact. Other than that... don't get too hung up on protecting your cruisers with small squadrons of escorts. Escorts are mostly useful in large squadrons. That's when they become dangerous rather than irritating. Remember to use your cruisers with weapon batteries in squadrons in larger battles, for maximum firepower. And thanks for the compliment, RascalLeader

I assume thats the complete list of the whole of the Fleet in the sector ? (which numbers wise would be about right).

Well, that is a listing of the Military Fleet. The Merchant Fleet and Civil Fleet are, currently, not listed and indeed would be difficult to do so for a number of reasons. Firstly there is some contention as to the relative size of the Merchant and Civil Fleets relative to that of the Military Fleet. Secondly there is the concept of 'ownership'... some of the recent 'fluff' rewriting seems to suggest that only the state operates warp drives (e.g. warp drives are 'rare' therefore only the state can own them because the state is in total control).
The original premise of the ASP, however, is to create a dynamic universe that is suitable for RPG and wargaming. A part of the fun of RPG is independent travel... While I'm downwardly revising the number of warp-capable ships, they would still be present in 'significant' numbers.
So, is that the entire Military Fleet? Yes. And thanks for Minister, wherever he has gone, for creating it. Is it the entire 'warp capable' presence in the Anargo sector? By 40k canon, no. There are two more Fleets. The size of those Fleets is debateable...

Well, my Imperial fleet has been started, and I thought I should share what little I've done on it so far...
in short, I have a basecoat of regal blue, details picked out in enchanted blue and weapons in boltgun metal. The prows will be white with gold trim.
So far it looks incredibly snazzy!
