A little something I wrote today, out of boredom. Enjoy ;D

Warlord Morzkraga Barkharg is without doubt the single most powerful ork in the Anargo sector. Over a century old, he is also one of the oldest, biggest and wisest orks in the sector, and without doubt the best general. The Blood Axe Morzkraga started his life in the Cruciatine sector, in the final years of the unsuccessful Waaagh! Snikblitz. This Waaagh! was headed for the capitol of the Cruciatine sector, when the Officio Assassinorum and Officio Sabotorum successfully assassinated Warboss Snikblitz and crippled his flagship, the infamous Space Hulk Mor Gargdakka. The young Morzkraga, then the leader of a small warband called Morzkraga’s Lurkas, found himself in the middle of an Ork war fleet of dozens of ships carrying hundreds of thousands of battle-ready orks. Taking full advantage of the situation, Morzkraga allied himself with several other Blood Axe warband and acquired his own ship, leaving the disorganized war fleet behind.
Guessing that the Imperium would focus its military resources around the older and most valuable worlds of the Cruciatine sector, Morzkraga set out to find a world that would be more remote and less valuable, and thus easier to invade. Searching for the easiest target is something that is quite unusual for an ork, but Morzkraga’s force consisted largely of Blood Axe clanners, who are known to value strategic plans over the ork idea of honour. Morzkraga found the backwater world Kernach II, which had been almost forgotten by both orks and the Imperium since Waaagh! Tuskragga left the sector in ruins in M36.
As promised, Morzkraga led his warbands to a world with appalling defenses, and carved himself a small empire on Kernach II within weeks. Eventually though, the planet was able to mass an organized defense against the ork warbands, but by that time, the orks had grown sufficiently in numbers to defend themselves against the humans’ counter-attack. A lengthy war ensued, in which Morzkraga gained invaluable knowledge of human tactics and Imperial military technology. By actually interrogating prisoners, which is another practice which rare amongst orks, Morzgkraga also learned much about human society and even learned basic Low Gothic.
After decades of fighting the PDF and odd Imperial Guard regiment of Kernach II, Morzkraga and his followers had grown into a respectable tribe with nearly a hundred thousand experienced Blood Axes, who ruled over a growing ork empire on Kernach II. The human forces of Kernach II eventually learned of Morzkraga and recognized him as the brain, heart and soul of the ork forces, and decided that assassinating him would put an end to the ork plague. Though their requests were not heard by the Officio Assassinorum, the Kernach II PDF sent their own snipers to deal with Morzkraga. When the snipers found Morzkraga, they failed to kill him, despite hitting and wounding the Warlord twenty-two times in torso and throat.
Fearing such a dishonorable death, Morzkraga decided to take his tribe and join the next Waaagh! in the Cruciatine sector. Upon joining Waaagh! Uggoff however, Morzkraga was told by the current leader of the Waaagh! that Blood Axes like himself were not welcome to join the Waaagh, as Blood Axes are seen by many orks as cowards and traitors. To this, Morzkraga replied by beheading Warlord Uggoff, and thus became the leader of Waaagh! Morzkraga.
Perhaps still afraid of assassins, and of suffering the same fate as Warlord Snikblitz did when Morzkraga was a young Boss, Morzkraga decided to leave the Cruciatine Sector and find another suitable empire where he could continue to grow and learn about his enemy. He soon discovered the Ork empire in the Anargo sector, and after failed negotiations, but very successful invasions, Morzkraga became the ruler of the Ork empire. For many decades now, Blood Axe Warlord Morzkraga Barkharg has launched countless attacks against the Anargo sector, probing the Imperial defenses and testing his strategies. He’s been known to lead from the front and get stuck in close combat as soon as possible, undoubtedly to boost morale, but perhaps also to hide from the crosshairs of assassins, whom he believes follow him wherever he goes.
