Let it be known that I did actualy make a serious effort to gather together everything and get it working again, but the blinkin' computer went and lost it. I will work on geting the Battlefleet up to scratch, and it will be done on or before the 10th of January.

Fair enough and sorry that there has been so much trouble... Perhaps in the interim you could also turn your attention to the thread in the Factor with regards to the RPG statistics for the flagship of the Anargy Military Fleet? Kage

Well, I've done some alternatives for the colour scheme of our Battlefleet. If you check out my Portent Gallery, you'll find six different versions of some frigate. I don't know if the Claymore or Falchion or any of the others have torpedoes and weapon batteries, but there you go. If you want to see other colours, it'll take me about 3 minutes to whip up new versions, so don't be shy.

Preliminary bit for the fleet's new ships will be going up in the Wargaming section. It's primarily in BFG style, so I thought that there would be more apropriate, but I'm giving notice here.

Could we please decide on a colour scheme? I just dug out all my BFG yesterday, and found that I have half a dozen Imperial cruisers, a dozen escorts and a Retribution battleship! Not to mention a Battle barge and three Strike cruisers! It's just begging to be painted in Anargo and Frost Wraith colours, so... Pretty, pretty please, with cherry on top, could you guys take three minutes out of your day to post your opinion on colours? If no one really cares though, I can always decide by myself!

I painted my Imperial Fleet Dark Angels green with Scab Red prows and gold drybrush highlights. Pretty easy and they look cool. I also have a few Mordians with Scab Red uniforms to represent officers during boarding scenarios. How about this color scheme?
P.S. I'd like to help design the non-GW vessels.

Dark Angels green looks great on Imperial ships, I must say! I just wanted to use other colours, since that's the colour of the Gothic fleet, I think.
And Jud, I think we should try to find a colour that is in contrast to the other Imperial ships in the sector, such as the rust red ships of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the Black Ships of the Inquisition and the White & Blue ships of the Frost Wraiths. Blue and white does look mighty good on ships though.
Personally, I think Teal is a good colour. I've never seen Imperial ships in teal, but I think it looks great...

Any input on ship types is welcome, but I'm waiting for a bit before sorting out distribution.
Colour schaemes: I'm not having green. I'm painting up an Anargo battlegroup and I don't like green (a curse upon that IG company and Ork warband...) Blue in the style of the Dauntless in the colour guide in the BFG book could work. Bone/light brown doesn't work in my eyes. All gold is too ostentatious. I'm wanting to stay away from blue and white combo due to my pall's ultramarines. Silver (steel.. Boltgun metal hilighted up to chainmail) with blue prow looked good on the one picture I saw. I still like black with red prow and gold detailing.

No green is fine by me, and I'm sure the ork-hating Anargo citizens would agree. Anargians? Anargonians? I'm content with blue! Blue is great! It doesn't have to be blue and white. Just blue looks good, as proven in the BFG rulebook. And on page 63, we see the full potential of using blue and gold. Damn, that's pretty... Now that's what I call a battleship! No bone colours is ok. I wouldn't have a problem with it though. I agree with the all gold. Silver... I'm not sure about. The navy colour is silver? Would people be wearing silver uniforms? Besides, it's too flashy to paint an entire ship silver, except if it's a Necron ship. As for the black ship with red prow... If you're not having green, Minister, then I'm not having black with red prow. It seems to me that blue is the best option. Almost seems fitting, for a Navy PS: I've started painting the Frostwraith's fleet. They're going to be a dark grey, highlighted with Codex Grey, so they'll look very spooky. Which is cool, since I wanted them to look like ghost castles, in keeping with their name. Of course, they do have the Frost Wraith colours also.

Right, that's sorted. Now all I have to do is stick the Xenocide together.
This could be easier than it sounds...
EDIT: After much re-consideration, I now think that white with black and/or gold trim would look quite nice too. Also ties in well with both the Ultras (related to my fleet more than the project) and the Frosties, whilst making for a dam fine uniform and good contrast with the Commissariat.
