For those of you who are wondering what this is, don't worry about it. Myself and Destecado just wanted an online source for discussion, and it didn't seem appropriate to start up another proboard just for it... Hope that no-one minds too much. Basically it's a rather complex 'cinematic' (in terms of style) RPG campaign spread over two time periods and involving a Memento- or 21 Gram-esque approach to storytelling. The first post will contain a basic description and concept post, and then we'll start kibitzing and creating the individual campaigns and storylines. One thing, though. Although it is not initially set in the 40k universe, as I'm sure you'll see in a very short order, the conversion over to the 40k universe is going to be fairly easy. And, indeed, it is one of the things that I would be interested in doing... Check the board out!

Just to let you know that the SoW board is to be removed for the purposes of creating a 40k RPG campaign that is specific to the ASP universe. The structure is going to be the same, but now we get to play around in our own turf. For obvious reasons the new version is going to be private since it will be used to modify some part of the 'story' of the ASP in the 40k universe. If you're interesting in being involved and have the capability of contributing to the creation of the campaign, let me know on this board. <grin> Otherwise I get to create whatever I want in the way that I want it! It just requires that people have an open mind and be able to contribute in some fashion. Perhaps even to learn something more about RPG in the same way that I'm having to learn about the wargame side of things, even if neither people actually get to playing either of the games! The real point, however, is to create a complex story that is interwoven with the timeline of Anargo. One that is based upon the initial conception (check out the forum quickly) but suitably 40k-ified to provide a fun story. So it's a case of storytelling, ultimately. I just don't want to leave it open so that everyone can read it, since ultimately it will relate to potential alterations in the sector...

Sounds as if it could be really interesting. Count me in for one! Could do with something new to do for 05 and RPGing big time could be more fun!

Just a quick reminder, it is all about the design of an RPG and not about playing one... At least at first. That's just in case I somehow misrepresented what I was after.
