Oh, I guess it should be written in. Out of interest, they're all dead. No room for xenos on this planet, let me tell you!

Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of them in the first place? The whole negotiating the concept with the UWP?
But fair enough. I'll just ignore that concept and move it to another world...

Not really, because there would still be some remains of their lost civilisation. But feel free to move the concept to another world. There would be a few minor alien civilisations in the Anargo sector after all. Past and present.
Which reminds me, I need to start a thread about the pre-Apostasy alien empires in Anargo.

The possibility arises that these aliens are a) subterranean b) deep-sea aquatic, so the Tryphonians don't even know they're there? Perhaps?

Well, yes, but this secret alien race has already been used on other worlds, and considering Tryphon's high tech level, the aliens would have to be pretty low-tech to avoid detection. But... how if some of the aliens actually escaped Tryphon when the Imperium came? They would still be found in the Anargo sector, some of them living in the outskirts of Imperial subsectors, working with or for rogue traders, others actually found on Imperial worlds when their special qualities are needed. Of course, I've yet to figure out what kind of qualities these are... Maybe a shape-shifting race? What would people feel about a race that has polymorphine in its system? It would be pretty much a rip-off of Zan the Assassin from Attack of the Clones. The race is able to shape-shift for great lengths of time, but returns to its original form under great stress or at the event of death. Eh?

I'm not suggesting that they're trying to be secretive. They are proto-sentient, right? Which means by rights, they have no technology at all?
So they're not aware of the human's presence, either.

Exactly... although the environment of Tryphon doesn't necessarily seem conducive to lovely little aliens, green skin and all! Given that CELS didn't really mention these - and in fact just wanted them 'killed off' - I think at present it is best to shift them elsewhere. When someone looks like they might want a proto-sentient race on their world, we'll let them have them... After all, the idea of using proto-sentients as, say, beasts of burden might appeal to some...

The map: OK? It's a map, fairly neutral in my opinion but good to see you've done it.
The crest: I like. The fist is a bit 'Iron Hands' though. Oh yes, and if you could make the scroll a bit more grandiose?

The map: OK? It's a map, fairly neutral in my opinion but good to see you've done it. Yep, very neutral. It's not a particularly unique planet. Thanks for the support though Thanks. The fist is actually the ancient symbol of the Emperor, which he used during the First Crusade, when he conquered Earth. How do you propose I should make the scroll more grandiose? I don't want it to go outside the borders of the crest. Perhaps make it taller and increase the size of the font...

You could loop the edges up a bit more and possibly bring them up behind the fist icon.
But I'm thinking of 'proper' artistry now i.e. paintbrush and canvas.

And one minor point... That's an awful lot of land mass for a Water World (Hydrographics = A) and, even, for a population of 9 billion!

Well, when someone volunteers to have a go at my crests with a brush and a canvas, I shall make the appropriate suggestions. On landmass... for the hundredth time, Kage, you're looking at the wrong UWP. The UWP in my first post is wrong. Look at the updated UWP on page 2. And no, I can't be bothered modifying the first post C8459AE-8 S Hi 903 IM 48M This is the real UWP! See? 50% hydrographic percentage (By the way... building floating continents out of plasteel... sounds like you'd need a whole lot of plasteel....)

Well, I am going to modify the damned post. Sorry, but when you open up a thread and see the SR for a world you don't expect to have to scroll to find a modified UWP... Sorry that I forgot but, funnily enough, I try not to memorise which posts contain the most updated information and thus have to 'trust' what I see when I look at a post. Busy, busy... 6 weeks to finish a PhD...
