Ah I thought I recognised you, and that explains why you jumped straight in on an eldar themed post, welcome to the ASP, oh and you might want to make a few more posts by the end of the month if possible as we have our own Morgan Ra and the harvest is almost ready seriously. (about 4 should be enough)

All-righty then... Where to begin. As a long-time scince fiction addict, I've been fascinated by 40K ever since it first came out (I think I may be showing my age ). I've also been a long-time advocate of the visual aspect of both games and entertainment in general. In my Copious Free TimeTM, I'm a freelance writer and editor, artist (I'd use the term "hack" however), and - of course - figure painter and gamer. Sadly, Real LifeTM, keeps me from doing any of these things as much as I'd like, but I'm interested in the project and would like to contribute in whatever small ways I can.

Welcome to the ASP, Schoon! Fortunately, we'll take all the help we can get, so whether you want to develop a whole world or just a single person in the Anargo sector, it doesn't matter Be sure to check out the Introduction forum by the way

Yeah, the name is Fael Don't ask me what it means, but its unique. I'm interested in doing everything but art, pretty much, though word-building, Eldar, and maybe just throwing in a few random characters sounds the most delectable.

Welcome to the project Fael (which, incidentally, sounds like a character from Jordan's Wheel of Time books, i.e. Faille)... Make your presence known!

Hellow I'm Ixidor10024
I have been playing WH40k for about 4 years now and I play chaos mostley but I try to read as many WH40k books as I can.
I reacentally got veary intrested in the time of the Horus Hearsy and the time imeadially after. I also think I would enjoy world building but I just started reading the world creation guidlines. Furthermore, I am veary intrested in the inquisitorial structure but I dont know much about this topic(I am willing to learn)
Due to the fact thet I am in a school that gives like no homework and I am not in any sports currentley I have a ton of free time to do whatever. I dont realy know what need to be done or where to get started here so if anyone needs help with anything(especially anything to do with chaos or what I mentioned above) please PM me.

Since nobody else seems to have noticed, Welcome Khorne!
A "medieval world"? Sounds like a feral world. i think CELS had one in Archaios that nobody claimed yet, unless he's taken it for himself.
AS for your Predator-themed alien race, you'll have to go to the top for a ruling on that one. The Sector has a plethora of minor alien races already, and we're shifting towards the interactions of the "human" planets in general right now. Don't get discouraged, though, new work is (almost) always welcome in some manner.

Oh, we've noticed... we're just watching from the dark corners of the forum, rubbing our hands and smiling at eachother..... Welcome to the ASP, Khorne. Your name sounds familiar, by the way... hmmm... The feral world in the Archaios subsector has been claimed by KeirLeslie a while ago. Though he has not posted a concept in the appropriate thread, it's still his world at the moment. As Glyphstone says, alien races are kind of on the back burner at the moment. We're now focussing on the Imperial subsectors, so we would appreciate it if new members did the same. That said, there is already a suggestion for a Predator-race in the Other Races forum, which might be worth while to check out. Finally, keep in mind that this thread is meant as a check-in, so let's continue any further discussion elsewhere. Thank you

Hi!
I'm new here. Primarily an Imperial Guard player, however, I'm thinking of doing a Daemonhunters Force as well. I have been interested in worldbuilding for ages, so it is great to see my two hobbies combined here on this forum. Amazing what you have done sofar.
cheers
XA
PS this is the 15,000th post on this forum ;D

Welcome aboard here!
First off have a quick browse through the various subsectors for a theme that suits you and your interests.
Contact the mod for that sub for more info on what they are looking for in planet/systems.
Search through the other topics in each subsector to get an idea of what the planet should be like and how it will interact with other worlds.
Then get the Guide downloaded and the other software bits and get going!
Don't forget to check out the other forums for ideas of what is happening in the Anargo Sector and related discussions.
