This is not the place for that discussion, so I shall answer it simply and quickly. The Guide is there to be used to create a consistent set of planetary information that can be used for both RPG and wargame, maximising the amount of information that we have to hand with the minimum amount of information. The rules tend to favour Terra-like worlds, but that is an inescapable part of the original abstractions made by the RPG from which the Guide is borrowed (DGP's "Worldbuilder's Handbook" created for MegaTraveller). The goal here is to create consistent information, rather than a patch-work approach... That does not mean, however, that the ASP will exclude concepts. In fact, the opposite situation exists. However, such concepts will be moderated by PPL discussion and, ultimately, myself. If you wish to address this question appropriately in "World Building" I'm sure that we'll be able to go into more detail there. If we haven't already done so! Kage

Yeah...sorry about that. It just sort of came to mind, and I couldn't really be bothered creating a whole new thread for a question that gets a simple answer. I don't usually go off on a tanget like that, but it was rather late and I'm lazy ;D. I'll stick to the topic at hand in the future.
