This level would be sort of similar to this one I assume... It is strange... given the retro-tech imagery that perpetuates through the wargame 'fluff' I would have imagined that there would have been more 'low-tech' worlds. Ah well... And as to your point on taint... it depends on the nature of the taint. When more information is forthcoming on that then the true impact can be determined. If it was a "Rule of Cool" addition (i.e. it just sounded interesting) then it's another matter entirely...

The tainted water and sky...I wanted that to be the result from industry and past wars, industry...well that speaks for it self I guess, it polluted the skies and waters, old wars would be the weapons which were destroyed on sea, fuel of these ships would get in the water, stuff like that.

In that case it is highly unlikely that it is not going to have a significant impact upon the environment, etc. Might want to have a look back at your concept and see how things go. Furthermore, one must always question one thing: How do you see the world fitting into the ASP or, more aptly, the Anargo sector (and, yes, there is a difference! )...?

It will supply the surrounding world with medical supplies, it is also an important supplier of medical goods for the Imperial Guard in that area.
About the "taint" I think the taint is not going to be so bad that it would be impossible for jungles to grow, I think they can have handle quite a bit of contamination. A personal example (its about plants...not really jungle but still) behind my house used to be this chemical factory (before this part was turned into a living area). When the factory closed the company/government threw all the waste under the ground there, so basicly large parts of my neighbourhood have lots of contamination under the ground. However, on the place of the factory is a small "forest" growing, heavily filled with plants. So I dont think the contamination would necisarily (sp?) have that much of an impact on the original concept

<grin> Then I suggest you read about heavy metal contamination!

You make a good point, it's too bad you also cant see the concept drawing Juddski posted on Portent...it was exactly how I envisioned it, affected by pollution yes, but still jungle life, lots of it

It's polluted... but not polluted. Perhaps some clarification would be more useful here. And I couldn't view the thumbnail, but you could always post the URL to the main image.

So, primarily heavy metals (lead, cadmium, etc.) combined with increasing greenhouse effect, alteration to the carbon cycle, etc.?

I like the medic slant, do you think they might provide medics for my mining colonies, not just medecines, or are they only for the IG. You could say Quechit was a medical centre for excellence and have great medical colleges that service the sub sector in terms of advanced medical training.

I like the idea that they send out doctors to many Imperial worlds, not just the Imperial Guard. Kind of similar what Cuba is doing nowadays, sending out doctors to other Third World countries.
That was the idea, to have Quechit be a large medical world in a way, it's main export product are medical equipment (medicin, tools, medical vehicles). Not only does Quechit send many recruits for the Imperial Guard (Quechitian Regiments), but they also send out medical personell (doctors, surgeons, nurses, etc).
I would like their IG to also have more medics, perhaps a medic Chimaira as some sort of ambulance.

F class star, I would expect them to have a significant tan. Is a population of a million going to be enough for your vision of this world, seems kinda low. Also you've got the hydrosphere at 100% which is what it says in the UWP, I know, but that means no land at all, perhaps change it to 98-99% and put modified next to it, to indicate the terrain terraforming that has occured. Also according to my colour chart your world will be green

Hydrosphere is the amount of water on the planet's surface right?
I am going to rise the population number, I dont know how much larger or smaller this world is compared to Terra, but I want it to have a large population.
