Here's the list of all sectors bordering on the Anargo sector. Obviously, we do not intend on fully detailing all these sectors (otherwise we'd call it the Segmentum Ultima Project ), but we do consider it useful to at least map out all the adjacent ones.
This thread will be locked (and stickied) so that it can be updated regularly to give the complete list. If you have any comments or questions about the sectors, or if you have suggestions of your own, please reply to this thread right here.
Now, the way to read this, as Kage describes, is 'Sector 1' is at the bottom-left-closest position. E.g. 0,0,0. Numbering extends by x-axis first, z-axis second and y-axis third. This means that Sector 1 is at the bottom close left, Sector 2 is to the right of it and Sector 3 to the right of Sector 2. 'Behind' Sector 1 is Sector 4 and to the right of that Sector 5 (which is also behind Sector 2)... and so on to Sector 9. Sector 10 is above Sector 1, and Sector 11 is to the right of Sector 10 and above Sector 2 while in 'front' of Sector 14... and so on until we reach Sector 27....
To help you further, all sectors that share a full side with Anargo are coloured green

+ + +
1. Cruciatine Sector - Sector put to ruin after Waaagh! Tuskragga in M36. For more info, go here.
2. Madron Sector - ? ? ?
3. Lazarus Sector - Capital world Lazarus renamed in honour of Warmaster Johan Lazarus who saved the sector from destruction by the hands of inter-sector chaos cults. Sons of Cataclysm Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes are founded in the late years of the crusade and play a key role in securing victory and protecting the vulnerable Lazarus sector after the crusade against chaos. The Lazarus sector is heavily populated, with over one hundred and twenty Imperial worlds, and it has played an important part in earlier wars and crusades. In M38 however, a rising storm of chaos swept over the sector, leaving the Lazarus sector unable to assist in other regions as it struggled to overcome the corruption.
4. Regnia Sector - ? ? ?
5. Erdeko sector - Site of Imperial Crusade against dissident Tripedan sub-sector early M40, in which troops from the Anargo sector, notedly Dorvastor, were involved. Capital world, Viand's Landing, is one of the primary hubs for the Kernmo Navigator House. The Erdeko sector enjoys close ties with several worlds in Anargo, and there is much trade between these two sectors.
6. Arcadius Sector - As a result of its early colonisation, this Sector has long been renowned as one of the most cultured and exquisite sectors. Visible technology is seen as vulgar so many of the worlds are used as Agriworlds and Hiveworlds are few and far between. The gardens of Arcadius, the sector capital are renowned for their beauty yet in the palaces poisonings and court intrigues are commonplace.
7. Xystus Sector - ? ? ?
8. Jader Sector - Also known as "the armpit of the region". Sparsely populated, with little in the way of resources or habbitable worlds to interest the Imperium. In the capital subsector, the sector capital, Chorget III, is the only truly civilised world, whilst the eleven other Imperial worlds are all backwards agri-worlds or low-tech mudballs not worth the effort to develop properly. The Jader sector is one of the few sectors in this region without an Adeptus Mechanicus forgeworld, which has been a great handicap over the millennia, clearly visible both on the different worlds of the sector, and in the resources of Battlefleet Jader itself.
9. Valkenburg Sector - ? ? ?
10. Oldcorne Sector - ? ? ?
11. Herluin Sector - Ancient, heavily populated Imperial sector with previously fantastic commerce. Genestealer infestations are slowly spreading though, and one planet has already been Exterminated in M41, to stop the Hive Worlds from homing in on the beacon, which is a secret the Inquisition has kept from the public. Because of the increasing Genestealer infestation, the Herluin sector has experienced a decline in trade with other sectors, including the Anargo sector, which has brought dire economical consequences.
12. Constabilis Sector - ? ? ?
13. Validus Sector - Another proud sector with a long history of Ork wars, having assisted a great deal in both the Cruciatine and Anargo sector for millennia. As it once had the greatest pre-Imperial empire of this region, Validus has long been superior to other sectors in terms of military resources, tithe grades and export, as its well-organised infrastructure has been perfected over nearly twenty thousand years. The Validus sector was also instrumental in the war against the Vandire loyallists in the Anargo sector during the Age of Apostasy.
Eldar Craftworld (quite rightly) suspected to guard the unexplored Cairnech cluster Only if it's a nice craftworld, in which case it might be allowed to be the home craftworld of Tir'asur!
[glow=blue,2,300]14. Anargo sector[/glow]
15. Revocatus Sector - Another old and powerful Imperial sector, but one that is somewhat crippled as its forgeworld Ytha has been caught in a Chaos uprising in the Devota subsector. Imperial forces in the sector are giving everything to save the planet before the corruption sinks too deep. Numerous Adeptus Mechanicus Explorator fleets have been sighted heading towards this sector, though little is known about what these presume to do, without fleets or armies to help in the war.
16. Karlow Sector - ? ? ?
17. Kenan Sector - A sector where Vandirites held on for centuries, losing their power in bitter wars and leaving a major branch of the old Ecclesiarchy splitting itself off from the new order and clinging on around the edges, rising up ocassionally. As a result of the frequent civil wars in the Kenan sectors, trade with other sectors has suffered, and many worlds here have a great debt to worlds in the Anargo sector.
18. Udalrich Sector - ? ? ?
19.Winoc Sector - ? ? ?
20. Isidore Sector - Casparno sub-sector is under quarantine by order of the Administratum. Several fleets have been ordered to contribute ships to the blockade, including Battlefleet Anargo. Several other worlds in the sector have noted increasing levels of civil unrest. The Imperial Monitor Post on XLP-220 was attacked and destroyed in 462 by forces tentativley identified after the attack as Space Marines of unknown chapter.
21. Ghislain Sector - ? ? ?
22. Alterak Sector - The Alterak Sector's civilized capital planet (Kaltore) is within a star system notorious with the blackships of the Inquisition as producing an especially large yield of psykers well in excess of required tithes despite the bloody reign of witchhunters during the aftermath of the Conclave of Nikea and various historical rousings of Imperial Cult activity (eg, the Age of Apostasy). The rest of the sector has been largely unaffected by this malignancy due to the wake of such pogroms. In the words of Inquisitor Lord Tiberius Rork, Kaltore's deviancy has become "quite contained." At the opening of the forty-first millenium, the Kaltorian Sector has seen increased activity with Ork Waaagh!s and as recently as ~236.M41 only barely defeated the thrust of the Alpha Legion Lord Y'tzl's invasion force thanks to the timely intervention of the Kaltorian Legion Space Marines. The physical destruction from the First Y'tzl War is only recently being healed, but the wide-scale sacrifices of psykers have resulted in scars that run far deeper. As such, the name "Y'tzl" is used as a swear-word throughout the sector.
23. Damian Sector - ? ? ?
24. Dydacus Sector - ? ? ?
25. Brescia Sector - Rogue Admiral Sengarda carved out a small empire of his own in Koygen sub whilst it was isolated for allmost four decades by warp storms. He enacted a series of pro-psyker reforms, including an attempted breeding and genetic manipulation programe in order to create a super-psyker, for reasons which have never been determined. The sub was eventualy re-taken thirty years ago, but the after-effects are still being felt and there are wories that the rot has spread throughout the sector and even beyond.
26. Silvanus Sector - ? ? ?
27. Natalis Sector - A Sector known for its mining wealth as a cluster of old stars scattered valuable trace metals across it. Because of the rich resources the capital Drisra is a well known stop on one of the warp currents from the Anargo Sector outwards.
Edit: Forgot to modify the position of Cruciatine based upon the position of Castellan. For some reason had it at the top left in my mind, when the co-ordinates put it in the bottom left. Oops.
The creation of new sectors requires some knowledge of the region surrounding the Anargo sector, and its history. Ergo, it is probably best to leave this to the somewhat experienced members of the project, who are familiar with our setting and guidelines. For you new members who are itching to contribute, your presence is much needed in the world building-part of the project
