Well, thanks for the answer, just wanted to know, it does make a difference to know, as to how many liberties I can take while drawing things. Well then, time to wade out of quote spam heaven and search about a bit hehe. -nathan-

<grin> Don't worry about it, too much. It is widely accepted that wargame does not equal 'fluff' does not equal artwork. They're three separate entities, supposedly inter-related but that doesn't quite work... As long as the artwork is somewhere in the ball-park, that is probably going to be more than good enough. Indeed, remember that if you want a 'project' to draw then I'm sure that people can provide you with more than enough possibilities... Kage

It does, however, see fairly redundant to include what I currently model (! note that currently!) as GTL10 systems being used on what is in essence a GTL8 vehicle. You've already got a system that requires maintenance by adeptus mechanicus personnel so is it really that much of an extension to arm it with plasma guns, lascannons, meltaweaponry, etc.? Yeah, it is. First of all, it increases the cost of this scouting (yes, scouting ) unit. Second of all, it increases their dependence on Tech Priests, since the general TL of the world is 6 and they wouldn't know what to do with GTL9/10 Does that apply to certain weapons, or all weapons with AP ammo? If the latter, then that's surprisingly simplistic. Exactly. Not a problem if you've seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Sorry, didn't mean to sound snappy, I was just being quick and concise The only vehicle in 40k that is capable of withstanding autocannon fire is the Land Raider. Oh, and the Leman Russ has the same armour in the front. Considering its role, some sort of multi-purpose rounds should be standard. It does have missiles for dealing with particularly pesky targets. If you want a scout with this kind of armament and armour, I'm pretty sure that a scout on wheels or tracks will be inferior in that setting. Of course, I'm no expert, but I do have some experience. Flying 3-4 meters over the ground? At any kind of speed, that sounds quite dangerous. Depends on the density of the forest and the size of the walker, I guess. In Denmark, yes Which lower tech guns, and why? Not a problem. Well, tanks use periscopes, but call it whatever you want... What exactly would this radar be capable of? I'm sold. Scouts without endurance are worth... not much at all. That would be an error in the software, I'm guessing. Erm... yes... And if that servitor runs into an infantry patrol, it's screwed. Put it on a buggy with a support weapon, then can survive against an infantry patrol, perhaps, but not likely against light/medium vehicles. Oh. Is that too much work? LoL! I kinda liked it myself. Ok, ok, I'll remove it. Soon Thanks for your time!

Trying to get the Factory going again...
Whether GURPS catches this or not, thermographic scopes manufactured today on Earth are designed for an operating temperature range of probably 40 degrees C, or so. It may be slightly less useful or more difficult when the atmosphere could be somewhere between 10 and 500 degrees Kelvin and the atmosphere may have interesting chemical and thermal properties (such as being a near vacuum).
I have a lot of trouble with the idea of sticking jetpacks on something that heavy, unless it's antigrav based and/or reactionless (which is a definite TL problem). Carrying reaction mass would be detrimental to overal operational range and capabilities, otherwise. Second, the very idea of Titans requires we throw this concern out the airlock to an extent, but what sort of impact would there be on landing? What terrain would be off limits?

Just as an aside, I found a picture of an old epicast model that was never released for the Paladin. CELS, is this about the size you were thinking of for the Knight Walkers?
