sort of like a dueling ring built in a large ship! ;D I could use some help developing it, like what would be some good stats for such a vessel?? and this is for one of my systems. Nyraddin. Criminals are placed in such a ship, and fight to the death. The crew on the ship would be like 100,000 or something, and the criminal population be like 1,000-15,000. That way they cant really take over the ship entirely. I could also use some help naming this thing ah yes, and this ship also needs to be able to defend itself, against any attacks, I dont know, raiders or something... Comments? Suggestions? All are appreciated

Sounds like almost any mid-to-large ship with a substantial cargo back is going to be sufficient... Perhaps you could expand upon the idea somewhat? Kage

well at first I thought I could have Gladiator Arenas on some of the moons in the Nyraddin System, but then I got an idea. Why not have a mobile arena for these prisoner gladiators, as entertainment for people in Hives and such? The fights could be transmitted through holograms on arenas built on certain planets! and I know holograms exist in 40k, Ive read about them everywhere... they're just primitive, not like Star Trek

ok, here are some of the stats that I have been thinking about
- 1 ship - very limited defence capibilities(few turrets, maybe 3 torpedo bays) - doesnt have the ability to challange an Imperial Cruiser in single combat - large compliment of S.W.A.T. IG to ensure that the criminals cant and wont take over the ship - no rules once your in the ring. Anything goes, from basic swords and daggars, to Bionic implants/augimentations

This could tie into the idea of 'gladiatorial games' as another link/manifestatin of "Imperial culture" in the Anargo sector. At present, however, I think that the concept itself needs working on before you try and create a ship for it... Perhaps start up a thread in the Imperium board and see what people have to say? When that is clear it shouldn't be too hard to create the ship for it. One thing that does spring to mind... This is not something that I see as receiving official endorsement and, as such, there will be no Guard. Kage

I could also use some help naming this thing Ship name Arena/Circus/Gladiatorix?Collosseum and you don't need crew or weapons here at all... just old commissioned ship with broken gravity system and temperature regime...

Or a crew that big now that zholud's quote reminded me that I was going to comment on it earlier! Must admit that I'm intrigued at the potential of multiple 'arenas' with different environments in them to simulate different types of conflict... Kage
