I've posted this in a number of places, but thought that I would put it here as well. This is an old version and one that I keep on meaning to come back to. But still, here we go:
Subassemblies: Turret (helmet), two arms, two legs, pod (backpack).
Drivetrain: 10kW motive power leg drive train in legs.
Arm Motors: ST 30 motor per arm.
Battlesuit systems: Pilot weight 300 lbs, pilot occupies body, turret, arms and legs. Battlesuit upgrades: Compexity 4 suit computer (body), limited lifesystem with 24 hours air (pod), trauma maintenance system (body), four days provisions (body; stretches to 16 days with Marine physiology). NBC Kit (body). Socket interface with interface lock.
Sensors: 3-mile range PESA in turret (limited movement).
Comsuite: TL10 basic comsuite (body).
Power plant: 11kW Nuclear (radioisotope) Power Unit in pod powers all systems. Two years endurance.
Energy Bank: Rechargeable power cell in body (316,800 kWs, 8 hours endurance).
Volumes: Turret (head) 0.81cf, Body 4.72cf, Arm (ea.) 0.86cf, Leg (ea.) 2.025cf, Pod (backpack) 2.2cf.
Structure and Hit Points: Medium frame, very expensive materials. Each arm 18HP, turret (head) 9HP, body 26HP, each leg 15HP, and pod 18HP.
Surface Features: Sealed, basic TL9+ stealth and IR cloaking.
Armour: Laminate. PD4. Turret (head), legs and arms DR75. Body and pod DR100.
Statistics: Loaded weight 1125.74 lbs, Empty weight 1101.74 lbs, Loaded Mass 0.56 tons. Volume 13.50 cf. Size Modifier head/turret (0), Body (+1), Arms (0), Legs (0), Pod (1). Price $125,703.08. Structural Health 10.
ST and Reach: Body ST 51, Arm ST 30 ea. (reach 1, damage thr 3d, sw 5d+2).
Dimensions: 2.43 yds tall (7'4").
Ground Performance: Speed 34mph, gMR 2.75, gSR 1, Move 17.
And now what all that means...
Subassemblies: The suit is anthropormohic (i.e. human shaped) with a single 'backpack' mounted on the posterior thorax.
Drivetrain: Lots of power to the legs.
Arm Motors: Can lift with one arm (i.e. dumbell lift) 180lbs compared to human norm of 60lbs. So that's 3x normal.
Battlesuit systems: A marine weight squite a bit, and the power armour encompasses that form. The suit contains a computer which operates the suit systems. The suit has 24 hours of air and 16 days of nourishment (not saying much). Suit also contains medical computer which monitors Marines' systems and applies drugs etc. when needed. Suit is proof against, and contains sensors for, adverse environmental conditions. Cannot be used by anyone but a Marine.
Sensors: 3-mile range vision, both 'daytime', nighttime and thermographic. Also has telescopic abilities.
Comsuite: (Radio which extends to about 5,000 mi; GPS system, radar/laser detector, laser communication, Identify Friend/Foe system).
Power plant: A low-energy power plant that lasts for 2 years before the radioactive isotope needs to be replaced.
Energy Bank: The suit can operate for 8 hours with catastrophic failure (or destruction) of the power plant.
Structure and Hit Points: The power armour is not as strong as terminator armour, but still uses advanced materials (i.e. ceramite). The armour must be extensively damaged before any, erm, damage can be translated to the pilot.
Surface Features: The suit is sealed against the environment. The shape of the armour makes it harder for radar tracking systems to lock on. The backpack power plant etc. makes it more difficult to track via heat...
Armour: Ceramite armour; equivalent to a stone wall about 7-8" thick.
ST and Reach: Marine attacks at the normal human ranges, but does at least 3 times the normal damage. When shifting things, they are able to move a maximum of about 1,275lbs. About 5x normal.
Dimensions: 2.43 yds tall (7'4").
Ground Performance: Speed 34mph... they can move very fast...
