This is something that I created a while back as an example of, for me, the smallest ship that could incorproate a Warp-drive. I thought that I would post it here for comment...
Note quite sure whether the table is going to work out how I want it to, but there we go. Comments are as ever welcome.
One interesting thing is the requirement, at least in GURPS Vehicles, is for the introduction of 'new rules' to get the fusion drives to work. Quite simply the ones in the 40k universe are far too efficient and the optional rule, which I shall post later if required, is just there to represent this as well as add a bit of tactics.
But what about the use of alternative drive systems? For example, one possibility is the use of low-tech reactionless thrusters (with the eldar using more advanced versions) despite the obvious reference to 'plasma exhausts' (could be a byproduct) and 'solar sails' (which have always been highly dubious)...
