The armour looks a bit too squarish...I mean the body part, and its head looks as if it's part of his armour almost, and he looks as if he is smiling

Come to CELS when you want the cold, ugly truth, eh? The first one is actually quite nicely done in terms of shading and detail, but you really need to work on ork anatomy and especially ork faces, in my humble opinion. I like a lot of your work, Jud, but I don't think you've ever done an ork that I liked the look of. I don't know how to help you, other than suggesting that you spend some time trying to copy GW's orks. The armour is also a bit unorky, without any glyphs. Orks always make their identity known. As for the second picture... it's quite excellent, with the major exception of the head, which doesn't fit at all. It looks like the head of Scooby Doo (and parden me if I'm being too rude now), which is a shame because the rest of the picture is really good. The arms should maybe be a bit thicker though.

.....ermmmmmmmmm,ouch!....lol ;D thanks Malika/Cels for your replys and explanations (if i know where i'm going wrong i can change it,so your oppinions are much appreciated)..the reason i like the first one so much is because it's the closest i've got without making orks look cartoony.. :-/but now you mention it Malika the armour is square ,cheers both

Mac Creedy trudged through the slime and human waste of the sewers below the space port, with every step brought the reminder of where they were. Jules as usual was in front with the star welder bitching about having to go down into the systems for a third time. Mac Creedy thought back to what the security officer had said, ''be on the lookout for anything suspicious....'' what a fool, the thought made Mac Creedy smile if only he'd know that he Fredreich Ap Mac Creedy was no ordinary mantinance man but some one involved with the cult they were looking for.. ''What's that?'' said Jules peering into the blackness of the tunnels the words brought him back to the present. ''Hey Mac come here i think i've found something''?. So he'd found Tadski,MacCreedy cursed himself , he had hoped that the body would have found it's own way into the recycling vats by now. To bad ,now i'm going to have to get rid of you to thought Mac Creedy. As jules turned around ,the last thing he saw was the mussle flash from his own personal weapon.... I'll blame their deaths on Hive gangs. As he walked back to the entrance alone the only comfort was knowing the cult was safe...... for now just bear in mind that I'm not a writer,I'm just trying to set the scene img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/juddski/asp/MacCreedy.jpg

Remove the whole nose, now there is something which sort of looks like a nose, other than that it's perfect!

Erm.... Malika? What are you talking about? Orks have noses! In fact, the last drawing by Juddski was quite brilliant, in my opinion. Orks have short, upwards-pointing noses, in great contrast to Gretchin, which have huge Al Pacino-like noses See uk.games-workshop.com/40kuniverse/warhammer40k/orks/orks.htmThe nose is small, but definitely there.

Hmm...maybe a bit smaller then, because to me an Ork nose looks more like a small bump with holes in it...but you make a point there

if the nose gets any smaller it'll begin to look like a mutant Tau ;D ,if i get time i'll do some close up sketches of orks faces noses? for you to decide if i'm on the right track
