That's actually a quite interesting idea... battlefields are such an obvioius part of the 40k universe that I tend to ignore them in favour of the 'more interesting' (yeah, right; as if that isn't a completely personal thing!) features. BTW - Any decent landscape artists out there who might give this a tackle? If so I've got some other things for you to do! Kage

I was thinking along the lines of a fairly sparsely-developed suburban/light industrial area that's been trashed by Orks, looted, enslaved, then beaten up and trashed again by the Imperial Guard coming in to 'liberate' it.

I would love to see more IG stuff...right now Im busy with an Imperial Guard officer from some ice planet, armed with a powerfist and some fancy goggles for his eyes
I finished my Alpha Legionaire with two lighting claws...it's not GW standard...but ok Im not THAT good, it could still fit for this project I think. I've also got an Alpha Legion Tech Marine...but Im not that proud of it...
Now to find a scanner...

To post publically without changing the settings of Photobucket, you're going to have to remove the "view" codes and just leave the filename after the final '/'...
CELS' Edit; And maybe remove the password protection on the gallery

I would like to see some stuff for the "fantasy world", for example those Beastmen or Orks armed with Dark Eldar designed armour and weapons. Go here for more info about that: kagemat.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=BuildGeneral&action=display&thread=1086353280Right now I got some sort of sketch of a Beastman in by Dark Eldar desgined armour. I also got an Imperial Guardsman from some ice world (similar style as the officer I drew) I've got a new Alpha Legionaire which Im very proud of, one arm is mutated and the other one has a multi melta/twin linked melta gun Also new is a drawing of a Quechitian officer, armed with a powerfist. Ive got some Servitors, but I dont like how they turned out...I might post them later And finally Ive been working on some sort of Ork Submarine, it's looking like a pirahna, but on top some top thingie of a submarine and inside the mouth a cannon, sort of jets in the back. The idea is that they get shot in the water from a landing ship. They would be about the size of a battle fortress.

I could have a go at the Frost Bringers chapter fortress (I'm ok, not great, but keen ;D). I assume the frost bringers come from an ice-world. Is there anything else I should know (special stuff about fortress, etc)?

Actually, FleetMaster, the Frost Bringers' homeworld is a rogue planet. That means a planet drifting in space without orbiting a star, if you didn't know. So their fortress would be located on a barren, lifeless, airless, cold landscape.
