Nope, just your own Anyways, I agree. No cryogenics. Maybe some of that liquid with the drugs. So cool to have living Chaos Space Marines in those glass tubes with the liquid. Typical sci-fi horror. Still, the stasis-coffins are the coolest. Don't know if they're too high tech though... Maybe Kage would know.

Don't know about the project tech level, but they're reasonably common within the Imperium (the stasis crates in Draco, for one, although I realy don't like citing that.

The stasis devices in the Imperium are one of those things that must just be accepted. A 'fluke' which brings the TL15/16 technology down to something which is achievable at TL10... Kage

Well Kage you have to remember that the Imperium has regressed quite some distance and continues to regress as knowledge which the mechanicus doesn't understand is lost or destroyed.
Hence it is perfectly feasable that there are say 2 forgeworlds producing stasis caskets in the Imperium and that the Ad mech just found the machines managed to start them and doesn't want to stop them to find out how they work (Even if they could understand the tech behind it)

We will have to disagree on the adeptus mechanicus since I disagree completely with the assertion being made. Another time I would copy and paste a recent reply to a Portent thread, but the same discussion can be found in the Imperium board of this forum. The setting does not strictly apply to the 'reality' of the situation and, in lieu of a better explanatory mechanism for the Imperium and the adeptus mechanicus, my 'own' verison will be used. (It's actually mine with an idea stolen from CELS...) But, yes, the Imperium is at a lesser level then earlier human civilisation... Kage

I myself stick stasis weapons as a product of Warp technology. Besides, they're more very-slow-downeynes than full zero tau (nothing to do with the blue Xenos scum!)
