How would you like to contribute? Well, I was thinking that my first "project" for ASP might be to create a world. This could, of course, be used for any aspect of the project. On the other hand, roleplaying is what gets my creativity moving. Tell you what, I'll PM you with my skill set so we don't bore everyone in this thread with minutia...

Okies, I do not know where to post this, but this seems as good a place as any!!!
Has anyone had experience with the White Wolf gaming systems? Especially world of darkness...
I have been devising an Inquisitor/general Imperial roleplaying system based upon the World of Darkness system for quite a while, as this excentuates the narrative over the statistical, and still makes for good gaming with the minimum of fuss (this is the new WoD, the older one was too complex for my tastes for making an adaptation).
i have gotten quite a way with this ,but have not nearly finished yet. But as I have a deep seated loathing for non-D10 gaming systems (sorry GURPS... in used to love you... but alas it was not meant to be), I feel that this work is well spent...
If there is any interest i would be very glad to hear about it!

If you're interested in paramounce of one system over another then you're in the wrong place. Hell, all of us RP'ers know that while the system can change the 'feel' of a game it ultimately doesn't do that much. It's the GM that makes the difference... And, erm, the players! If you have information from other systems then post it! I'll comment on it since I'm familiar with the WoD system (though I would argue the point about any 'game mechanics' heavy system being "wrong"; that's the fault of the GM!). Problem? Not commenting elsewhere. So, play around the other forums!

Cool. I am not interested in arguing 'supremacy' of one system over another at all, I just prefer that one. I know that statistics based ones can be great fun, but I am not a mechanics heavy kinda guy, thus I stick with a less numerical (gah numbers!! *flees*) game mechanic (which I must admit sacrifices some level of 'control' over one's own actions beyond the description and the die roll...) But yeah, glad to be of assisstance, and I shall get posting .
