It is my desire and, I'm sure the desire of many members of the board to expand the Anargo sector's impact. With the death of Portent there is one obvious route that is closed to us. So does anyone have any suggestions?
One possibility that I have been considering, for example, is putting the project 'in touch' with some other boards and online projects out there. The Dark Millennium v.2 project seems an obvious choice, for one.
So, again, suggestions...?

Well that seems like a good start Kage, why not try that first and see what happens. Am I right in assuming you can't just go on another site and directly tell people about the project.
Also how do you post links in your signature on the BL forum, as it seems their might be a few people on their that might find Anargo of interest, or have you already explored that option.

The only problem with posting links on the BL forum is that you have to show the entire URL rather than being able to hide it as you can on this board and, ideed, most others. This makes a 'sig' look rather messy.
Secondly, I'm holding back on the links in the 'sig' until the 'New Forums' are opened to the public...

Fair enough, and I see what you mean about the URL showing, it is rather inelegant. What about PMing prospective candidates or would that just be weird or again not the done thing.

I've done that once or twice but it feels... strange. Rude, almost.

Well I only suggested it as its really the only other way to let people "know" without direct advertising, but I understand what your saying, it would be a rather distasteful intrusion, I don't think I would be comfortable doing it either.
There is also the way I was snared, which is to start a thread on somthing quite in depth and hope people are interested enough to ask what you are up to, but that would probably not produce fantastic results. And I have tried, youve probably seen some of my posts elsewhere.

I've bugged friends of mine and posted on other small forums. Going to try ClanBOB next.

Fair enough... Just a quick pointer, BrotherAnimosus, that the New Forums are up and running. The majority of 'new' discussion is going on there... Point your browser to the thread in this board and, from there, those forums... But thanks for trying to extend the project to other members... Kage

Well, please remember that this is only an archive board where we come back to so that we can reference old discussions as well as look at properly tabulated information (the new board doesn't have that set up). It would have been best if you had emailed someone (like Zark), or IM'd someone...
I've deleted your ASP account so you should be able to try again. CELS was unclear on what issues you were having. It sounded like one of two things. Firstly your broswer is buggered, in which case you might want to check out Mozilla's Firefox which is darned excellent. Secondly that you might be using the 'sign in' information on the (?) bottom of the main page. In this second case, you might want to use the proper 'log in' information which will then create an appropriate cookie until the next time you delete your cache.
If you're still having trouble with it, then contact someone on the boards and we should be able to do something about it. Remember that people (myself included) tend not to check back here. Heck, I had to reactive my admin account just to post here...
